Driven By Design Contest These terms and conditions (“the Rules”) govern the “#DrivenByDesign” (“Contest”) administered by Mahindra Racing UK Limited (“Mahindra Racing”/ “us” / “we”).

Sending us your design submission (“Submission”) constitutes you (and in case of a minor, your legal guardian) as a “Participant” of this Contest and creates a binding contract between you and Mahindra Racing, as per the Rules set out herein below

Terms & Conditions :

1. #DrivenByDesign Contest :
This contest is a crowdsourcing online event inviting fans of Mahindra Racing to design the livery on the Mahindra M3Electro car that will feature in Season 3 of the Formula E Championship, 2016.

Livery refers to a uniform, insignia or symbol adorning, in a non-military context, a person, an object or a vehicle that denotes a relationship between the wearer of the livery and an individual or corporate body. Often, elements of the heraldry relating to the individual or corporate body feature in the livery.

2. Eligibility :
** Entry is open to everyone, of any nationality, with the exception of the employees of Mahindra Racing, as well as any relatives of such employees. All valid entries from each Participant will be accepted. There is no limit to the number of entries sent within the contest duration.

** In case the Participant is a minor, i.e. below the age of 18 years at time of submission of entry, written consent of a parent/legal guardian, together with documentary evidence, will have to be provided, whereby such legal guardian/parent agrees to be bound by these Rules.

3. Time limit :
Submissions must be sent between (1230 hrs. GMT) on August 1st, 2016 and (1750 hrs. GMT) on August 10th, 2016 (both days inclusive). No entries outside this time limit will be considered.

4. You represent and warrant that all personal information provided by you is correct and accurate. You recognize that submitting false or misleading information may result in disqualification from the Contest and/or receipt of the Prize. Moreover, we reserve the right to disqualify any individual we find to be tampering with the entry process, acting in a disruptive manner, or violating the rules.

5. Adjudication of the winner:
5.1 One winner / winning entry will be selected by contest judges at Pininfarina at the end of the contest. The decision of Mahindra Racing will be final, and no communications or complaints in this regard will be entertained by us, nor will we be liable to explain the process by which the winner has been chosen.

5.2 The winner will be notified by email within five days of the selection. If he / she cannot be reached or does not reply to the prize notification email within 72 hours, the prize will be assumed to have been forfeited and may be awarded to another Participant.

5.3 Mahindra Racing reserves the right to select no winner in the event of sub-standard/limited entries. No queries or communications or complaints in this regard will be entertained by us.

6. Prize:
6.1 The winner will get the opportunity to visit the Pininfarina design studio in Turin, Italy, sponsored by Mahindra Racing (“Prize”) – which includes economy class return flights and one nights’ accommodation for two persons, if applicable. All other costs and documentation (visa, local travel, and meals) will be the responsibility of and will have to be borne by the winner.

6.2 Pininfarina is the official partner of Mahindra Racing for this contest and shall help evaluate the contest submissions. Pininfarina shall not be held responsible for liabilities if any.

6.3 The right to claim the Prize cannot be transferred by the Participant to any other person. No cash alternatives or alternative prizes are available. However, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to substitute the Prize with any item of equal value.

6.4 To claim the Prize, the winner shall be required to prove his/her age and identity by submitting appropriate documents to that effect (e.g., an ID card or a Valid Passport). In case the winner is a minor (under 18 years of age at time of participation), written parental consent will need to be provided.

6.5 The Prize must be availed of at a mutually convenient date after the announcement by us, failing which it shall lapse.

7. Publicity:
You agree that:
7.1 We may publish your Submissions, and the information submitted by you, not limited to your name, country of residence, entry details, and picture captured while receiving the Prize on our website, social media channels or through any other medium.
7.2 We may require you to participate in reasonable publicity campaigns conducted by Mahindra Racing for this Contest.
