NBC IdeaFactory Contest :

NBC IdeaFactory 2016 (Season -II) is a campus connect initiative organized by National Engineering Industries Ltd to inspire, ideate and innovate learning amongst Engineering Students.

The initiative was started in 2015 (Season-I) with an objective to multiply our reach at Campuses in India and improve our talent acquisition process. The NBC IdeaFactory is in the form of contest which enables students to tackle practical Engineering problems in form of a case study related to Manufacturing, R&D, Metallurgy, Digitization etc and provide an innovative solution.

The problems can be chosen in Phase – II by the registrants once the registration window closes. All entries will be evaluated based on originality and innovation and short-listed ones will be given an all expense paid trip to our Head Office and Plant in Jaipur for a presentation before an eminent jury. Select Winners will be awarded Cash Prizes and can also be on boarded through an offer to work with us.

Terms & Conditions :

** This contest is open to Students of Engineering (any Semester/Branch/Discipline) of an Engineering Institute in India/Abroad.
** All entries must be original. The entries will be subjected to check for authenticity and plagiarism.

** Entrants must send entries as required in the contest announcement in order to be eligible. Entries received after the Last Date set forth in the contest announcement are ineligible, null, and void.

NEI will not be responsible for and will not consider incomplete or incorrect entries. NEI is not responsible for entries that are sent but not received by NEI for any reason.

** All winners will be notified by the form/method of contact they provided to NEI when they initially entered the contest. All registrants must respond to any communication done by NEI for completion of process for this contest. Failure to respond within 5 (Five) working days will render the entry ineligible.

** Only one entry per person will be considered for contest unless the contest announcement specifically says that multiple entries are allowed or is agreed by NEI through a written communication to the contestant.

** All photos, drawings, text, and any other content or information (collectively and severally, “Materials”) submitted by you to NEI shall become the sole and exclusive property of NEI, and NEI shall have no obligation to preserve, return, or otherwise make available to you or others any Materials.

NEI may use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish, and otherwise make use of Materials in any and all media, whether now known or hereinafter created—throughout the world and for any purpose—without compensation to you of any kind

** By submitting Materials to NEI, you represent and warrant that the Materials do not infringe any copyright, trademark, property rights, rights of privacy or publicity of any person, or any other right of any third party and that you have the full and unrestricted right to transfer the Materials to NEI free and clear of any claims or encumbrances.

** You agree to hold NEI and its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns harmless from and against—and hereby waive any right to pursue—any claims of any nature arising in connection with NEI’s use of the Materials submitted to NEI and used in any manner in NEI’s sole and absolute discretion.

** Contests involving evaluations of Materials submitted as part of the contest will be judged entirely in the sole and absolute discretion of NEI. Decisions by NEI are final.
** All entrants and winners must be at least 18 years of age, unless otherwise stated or posted.
** Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings. All winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees as well as all additional costs that may be incurred.
** NEI reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to terminate any contest at any time without prior notice.
** NEI reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to alter any contest rules at any time.
** By entering a contest, you conclusively are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these contest rules and terms and conditions as well as by any rules specific to such contest. This is an irrevocable condition of entry.
** No purchase or payment of any consideration is necessary to enter the contest.

** NEI reserves the right to require the winner to execute an affidavit of eligibility as a sworn document and provide other proof of eligibility as a condition of receipt of the prize or award. Winner is responsible and accountable to bear any taxes associated with award or prize.
