Do you have an artit within you or have always wanted to try your hand at it? Why are we asking? Because we want a new Cover Photo for our GIC Facebook Page! German Information Centre New Delhi presents its #GICCoverContest.

Depicting the spirit of Germany & South Asia, the artwork can be hand-painted and/or made with the help of any photo-making software.The artwork also has to fit the theme of ‘Germany & South Asia’ and cannot be focussed on any one of these countries only. Hence capturing/depicting at least one element per country is a must.

Some suggestions for topics that can be covered are history, geography, art, culture, food, festivals and architecture, however the sky is the limit!But remember, the artwork must be original and has to be created by you. Please scan the artwork and share it on our GIC Facebook Page.

Alternatively, you may also mail it to dz-10@newd.diplo.de . The contest ends on 26th September, 2016. In addition to receiving prizes, the winning entries will also be featured as our GIC Facebook Cover . So hurry up and send us your entry. Let us celebrate creativity!

How to participate:
Rules and regulations:
** The contest is open for people residing in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal only.
** On Facebook: post your artwork on our Facebook page with the hashtag #GICCoverContest and a short description.
** Only entries posted on our Facebook page tagged #GICCoverContest will be accepted and considered.
** Only one entry per participant will be considered.
** The competitor shall guarantee that the submitted artwork is an original work.
** The German Information Centre (GIC) in New Delhi holds the right to reject entries. The outcome of the competition will be at the sole discretion of the GIC.
** All entries shall be the property of the German Information Centre in New Delhi.
** Once the entry is submitted, the German Information Centre holds the right to post the entry on its Web 2.0 platforms, as and when needed.
