ALHW “LOGO DESIGN CONTEST” :

We are very glad to intimate that Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works (ALHW) has already entered into 50 years of its existence and is planning to celebrate the Golden Jubilee Year 2015 (1965—2015) on 22.10.2015.

Contest Last Date : 25th September 2015

In this regard, it is proposed to conduct an open competition on designing of LOGO for ALHW on account of Golden Jubilee Year 2015 celebrations. Interested persons are invited to participate and submit the same to the department upto 22.09.2015 as per the following details and terms and conditions.

Overview of the Contest:

Logo should relate and depict to the activities carried out by ALHW. ALHW has created Wharves, artificial harbours by construction of Rubble Mound Breakwaters with jetties and allied facilities, inter-island jetties and innumerable ferry jetties, Dry Dock/ Slipway Complex at Port Blair for repairs of Inter Island ships and other ferry boats. Procurement and commissioning of Cargo handling equipments which includes wharf cranes, forklits, Reach stacker, Coles Crane etc. Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works (ALHW) has already entered into 50 years of its existence.

Eligibility:

The contest is open to all. The Contest is eligible to employees of the ALHW and their immediate families (parents, siblings, children and spouse). The contest is limited to the participants of India only. Contestants name, mobile number, email address and postal address shall be submitted. Online contestants may attached files in A4 size 297 x 210 mm, resolution must be in 300 dpi\ JPEG format, 595 x 841 pixels. Limit attachment size to not more than 10Mb.

Logo Brief:

Logo should correspond to the developmental activities carried out by ALHW.
Preferably relate to jetties, Wharves, breakwaters, slipways etc.
Modern, simple, smart, recognizable, memorable
Logo must include the word, “ALHW” and motto as “Service to Islands”

Selection of Winner:

The Winner shall be selected by the Judging panel of Ministry of Shipping, New Delhi and will be the sole decision maker for the final selection of winners. The decision of the judges for the Contest is final and no further claims will be entertained. The result of Contest will be displayed in the website of ALHW. The winners will be rewarded with a Certi?cate/Momento and Cash prize of ?6000/- 85 ?4000/— for 1st and 2nd prizes.

Terms and Conditions :

Duration of Contest :
The Contest begins at 08.30 hrs. on 25Th August 2015 to 25Th September 2015 and will continue until such time as the Organizer, in its sole and absolute discretion, elects to terminate the Contest. The Organizer reserve the right to shorten, extend, modify, terminate, or cancel the Contest, at its discretion, at any time. The Organizer reserves the right to modify any of the Terms and Conditions set forth herein.
