Follow the below steps to take part in My Pulse My College!
1. Buy a Classmate Pulse Notebook. Each book is worth 50 points.

2. Collect your scratch card and use it to get your unique code.
3. Register here and fill in the code.
4. Upload a photo and tell us why your college is the best with a caption.
5. Submit your photo and share it among your friends. Remember, every vote scores a point!

Participant Points:
1 Notebook = 50 Points
1 Vote = 1 Point

For example, If you have 5 notebooks & each entry has 10 votes each, your total score will be
(50 X 5) + (10 X 5) = 300 Points

College Points:
At the college level, the total number of points will be calculated by adding up all the points of each student of that particular college.

For example, College ABC has 3 students X, Y, and Z. If X has 400 points, Y has 350 points and Z has 200 points, then your college’s total score will be
400 + 350 + 200 = 950 Points

** The Classmate Pulse Contest ‘My Pulse, My College’ (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”) is being run by ITC Limited (hereinafter ‘ITC’) and is open from 21/06/2015 to 07/10/2015 (both days inclusive). All submissions will have to be completed in the manner stated in these Terms and Conditions within the time period stated above.

** Participation in this Contest is purely voluntary. By participating in this Contest, each Participant is deemed to have accepted the complete Terms and Conditions for this Contest which are final and binding in all matters related to this Contest.

** Every Participant must be a resident of India and must be between 17-22 years of age as on 21/06/2015 and enrolled in a university or a college in India. It is hereby clarified that this Contest is only open to Participants who have obtained the permission of their parents and/or legal guardians and whose parents and/or legal guardians consent to be bound by these rules in their own right and on behalf of the Participant.

** No immediate family and household members (children, siblings etc.) of employees including workers, business associates of ITC, and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agents, and any agencies or other companies involved in the development or execution of the Contest or production or distribution of Contest materials are eligible to participate in this Contest.

** The final decision whether a Participant can participate in the Contest shall be of ITC and shall be binding on such Participant

** To participate in this Contest, the Participants should follow the following procedure:
a) Buy a Classmate Pulse notebook (hereinafter referred to as “Notebook”) with printed MRP Rs.55/- to Rs.165/-. On purchase of the Notebook, please collect a coupon with a unique code printed on the coupon from shopkeeper/ store manager selling the Notebook (hereinafter referred to as “unique code”).

b) Visit classmatestationery.com, login and register yourself by entering necessary details

c) Click on the Contest tab to go to the page where the Contest is hosted (hereinafter “Contest Page”), follow the instruction therein, enter the unique code, submit a photograph entry with a write up on ‘why your college is awesome?’. This write up should be in English and should not more than 120 characters. The write up should support the photograph entry and the photograph entry should depict what you find awesome about your college.

** ITC will run an online rating process on the contest page, whereby members of the public may vote for a favourite photograph. Each Contest entry on submission will get 50 points and additional 1 point for every like. The computation of the points will be done in following manner:
For Eg: Student has 2 Entries, One with 100 Likes and other with 10 Likes. His Total Points = (2 x 50) + (1×100) + (1×10) = 100+100+10 = 210

If there is enough indication to suggest unprofessional conduct and manipulation of the rating process, then ITC at its sole discretion has the right to remove the relevant Entry or Entries and, if necessary, award the prize to a different Participant. ITC’s decisions are final.

** Each Participant can submit one entry per unique code for this Contest. Such Participant can submit multiple entries using different unique codes under the same login id. The Participant is advised to retain the Coupon which will be used for verification in case of any dispute.

** Three winners will be chosen based on the scoring mechanism as mentioned above and indicated on the contest site. The winners chosen by ITC will be final and it is clarified that no correspondence will be entertained or entered into except at the sole discretion and initiative of ITC. The winners will receive a trip to Goa with two of their friends for 2 nights and 3 days, details with respect to dates of travel to be decided at the sole discretion of ITC.

** ITC shall only arrange for return flight tickets to Goa from the nearest airport and accommodation in a standard room of its choice of not more than Rs. 3,000/- per day inclusive of all taxes for the winners and their friends. ITC will not be responsible for arranging transportation for Participants to reach the nearest airport, any travel/ medical insurance, meals, expenses incurred during the stay like laundry, tips, telephone bills which are not mentioned in the inclusions. Winners will not be entitled to raise any requests or disputes in this regard. ITC does not guarantee the quality of service of the rooms, airlines etc.

** Depending upon the participation of students, the college with the most overall points will also stand a chance to win sponsorships of Rs. 3 lakhs. With the next 4 colleges getting sponsorship amounts worth Rs.1.5 lakhs (2nd place) and Rs.50,000 (3rd, 4th and 5th place). ITC shall communicate the results to Principal/ Vice Chancellor of the winning college, college will be eligible for this amount only if college agrees to take that sponsorship money subject to terms communicated by ITC in this regard within 60 days of such communication.

** The colleges having an annual cultural, sports or technical fest involving other colleges and Universities only will be eligible for receiving sponsorship amount.

** On notification, the Winners must submit their photo id proofs and passport size photographs for verification along with any other documentation sought by ITC.

** Winners will be notified on or before 31 Oct, 2015 by way of phone/ email and the names of the winners along with the passport size photographs submitted by them will be published on after the verification process.

** If for any reasons and despite customary diligent efforts, it is not possible to contact a potential winner within a period of 48 hours, ITC reserves the right to disqualify that entry and select another winner from the Participants.

** Participation in this contest will be deemed to mean that participants are medically fit to undertake such travel.

** Participants represent that they will not indulge in any illegal activities and shall be responsible for their conduct during the trip and ITC will not be responsible for any unforeseen event that may occur due to any conduct/ act of any Participant.

** ITC will not be responsible if due to any unforeseen situation, any of the winners are unable to participate in the trip.

** Participants agree to document their journey through photographs, videos and write ups and share the same with ITC for promotional purposes. ITC reserves the right to document the journey of the Participants and broadcast it on any media platform at its sole discretion.

** It is hereby clarified that in case of any fraud or mischief on the part of the Participant, he/she will be deemed disqualified from this Contest. The Participant must ensure that the entry is not derogatory, offensive, threatening, defamatory, disparaging, or libelous, or does not contain any content that is inappropriate, indecent, sexual, profane, tortuous, slanderous, discriminatory in any way, or one that promotes hatred or harm against any group or person.

** Participating constitutes Participant’s consent to give ITC a royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable, assignable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, create derivative works from, and display such submissions in whole or in part, on a worldwide basis, and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, media or technology now known or later developed, including for promotional or marketing purposes.

** Participant needs to ensure that each entry does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, or violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity, and due permission is taken from the third person.

** Participants cannot use trademarks and copyrighted materials owned by third parties Photographs cannot have names, voices or other characteristics identifying celebrities or other public figures, living or dead. Photographs which contain any commercial content that promotes any product or service other than that of ITC are not allowed.

** Participant needs to confirm that each person depicted in the Entry has granted permission to be portrayed as shown. Any outfits, props or other resources used must be rented or borrowed with the approval of the owner, and all other relevant authorizations must have been obtained.

** Participant acknowledges that he/she is responsible for protecting any Entry against photograph misuse by any third parties; ITC assumes no accountability and are not responsible for any photograph misuse.

** ITC assumes no accountability for any wrong, inaccurate or inadequate information, whether caused by site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Competition, and ITC assumes no accountability for technical, hardware or software failure of any kind, for lost network connections, garbled computer transmissions, other problems or technical malfunctions with regard to the Competition.

** ITC assumes no accountability for any fault, oversight, fraud, disruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or damage or unapproved access to or modification of Entries.

** ITC is not accountable for any problems or technical failure of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, computer equipment, software, fault of any e-mail addressed to ITC on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the internet or any site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or destruction to Your or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Competition. If for any reason a Participant’s entry cannot be viewed or is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unapproved intervention, fraud or technical failures, ITC assumes no accountability.

** It is hereby clarified that wherever any consent/ permission/ assignment / transfer of any right of the Participant is sought, the same shall be binding on the parents/ legal guardians of the Participant. The parents / legal guardians of the Participant shall sign any documentation that may be required by ITC or its designees or agents for the non-exclusive rights that the Participant is granting to ITC to use the submission or any portion thereof.

** It is hereby clarified that ITC is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, un-intelligible or misdirected submissions, which may be disqualified in ITC’s sole discretion.

** The Prizes given under this Contest cannot be transferred, substituted, exchanged or encashed by the winner.

** ITC reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of the Contest, including extending, withdrawing or discontinuing the same without notice, without assigning any reason at its sole and absolute discretion and without any liability.

** The pictures and images of the prizes depicted on the promotional assets etc. are only representative and the actual prizes may vary from the depiction.

** ITC shall not be liable for any loss of prize due to incorrect address or any other incorrect information provided by the winner and incomplete entries will not be considered for the prize.

** Participation in the Contest constitutes participant’s consent for the ITC and its designees to use participant’s name, likeness and state of residence (“Personal Attributes”) for promotional purposes in any media without further consideration.

** All national, state and local laws and regulations within the boundary of the Republic of India will be applicable.
