National Swimming Competitions :

CBSE Inter School Sports & Games Competitions for the session 2016-17 have been started successfully & a few events have already been over and at rest of the venues either the competitions are underway or are about to begin very soon.

In this connection, I would like to apprise you of the following points:
A) This year the Board would organize Swimming Competitions under “Inclusive Swimming” for the students with varying levels of cognitive abilities.

All such schools that wish to participate in the competition may forward the participation consents to the concerned Organizing School (refer Sports Calendar at cbsesports.in). The general information, rules & regulations, entry proforma may also be downloaded from there.

National Level competition shall be organized during CBSE National Swimming to be held at Rajeev Gandhi Higher Secondary School, E-8, Trilanga, Shahpura, Bhopal – 462 039, MP, from 15 to 18 November, 2016.

B) Further, in continuation to our previous communications, it is once again informed that as on date, the Board is not affiliated with School Games Federation of India (SGFI).

Also, one of the units of SGFI titled as “C.B.S.E. Sports Welfare Organisation” at Agra, U.P., doesn’t represent the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi at SGFI games & hence any school that participates under its banner, does so at its own discretion & risk.
