Pharmaceutical Industry is expanding and is going global. It is competing with multinationals in producing quality medicines and supplying to the world. India is rightly called as the Pharmacy of the World.

This industry demands candidates for its workforce who are smart, brilliant, IT savvy, strong, dynamic and extremely professional. All these qualities are not taught in a classroom. Organisations like POWER wish to generate ideas on the significance of these qualities in the Pharma Industry and in pharmacy practice and on how they can be acquired.

NATIONAL LEVEL POWERPOINT PRESENTATION COMPETITION FOR WOMEN PHARMACISTS
THEME: “PHARMACY PRACTICE IN INDIA”

Eligibility: Any woman pharmacist. either student or professional

IPC registration is not necessary . No registration fee to participate in this contest.

** Participant has to submit her PowerPoint by 25th November by email to powerpharmacists[at]gmail.com along with photo and biodata details.
** Biodata details are to be given in the first slide.

** Presentations may have a maximum of 25 slides. Plagiarism will not be accepted. Photos or images should be author’s originals. Diagrams, images, flow charts, tables, text or photos created by some other authors, in research articles or text books or in online publications should not be copied.

** Based on the online received ppt.s, Judges will declare the prize winners. (No need to come anywhere. Based on the quality of your ppt., the top 3 participants will be identified . Some of the important factors considered during evaluation include : Novelty, Relevance to theme, Continuity, References (if any) etc.)
** Prizes will be given in the Women Pharmacists’ symposium during IPA 68th IPC being held at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
** E-certificates will be sent to all participants by e-mail.
** Prizes : First prize: Rs 3000/- Second prize: Rs 2000/- Third prize: Rs 1000/- in each category.

Separate prizes in each category:
Category-1 :
All women employed pharmacists in India: teachers, drug inspectors, researchers, pharmacists, employees in industry, women pursuing their Ph.D. degree in pharmacy

Category-2:
All women pharmacy students in India: women studying Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor in Pharmacy, Master in Pharmacy and Pharm.D
