It’s that time of the year again. YES! IT’S DIWALI. To make it special and fun for you, we decided to come up with a super cool and quirky Diwali Contest. Brace yourselves for the Diwali Photo Story Contest.

Diwali brings in a lot of fun and festivities. However, this festival can mean something really unique, something personal to each one of us.

It could be a set of lovely memories, a particular liking for diyas and decorations, spending time with family and friends, eating sweets, love for exchanging gifts, donating to the underprivileged. We have our own ways of celebrating it.

We really want to know how you will celebrate Diwali this year, and what it means to you. Tell us your Diwali story – but a little differently. Yeah, you guessed it right! With photographs.

P.S – Entries will be judged on the basis of how creative your photographs and storytelling is.Brownie points for entries which have a unique story to tell.

How to take part in the contest:
1. Use your Mi phone or Redmi phone to take the photographs.

2. Start a new thread under “Photography” section with the exact title: “[Photography] Diwali Photo Story contest”+(your owntitle). Please indicate which Mi phone have been used to take the photos.

3. Upload your photo story (minimum 4 photos and maximum 9 photos) in the thread.

Rules:
1. Only photos taken with Mi phones are eligible for the contest.
2. You can edit your photos with editing software (eg. Photoshop), but the exif infoneeds to be complete.
3. Entries with less than 4, and more than 9 photos are ineligible for the contest.
4. You must use text to narrate each photograph, and to move the story forward. Please do not write more than 5 lines to describe each photograph.
4. Users who write malicious or irritating posts will be disqualified from the contest.

Contest period: 26th Oct – 3rd Nov
Winner announcement: We will update the winner list and publish it in this thread on 4th Nov.
