World Robotics Championship :

Construct a robot which out runs all other robots to win the race. Manually controlled robot capable to sustaining over different terrain & unseen hurdles robot win most cumulative points wins.

Registration Process & Timeline :
To register for this competition click “Register Here” button and proceed for filling up registration form and further online payment .

Eligibility :
** Open entry for all.
** Minimum team size 4 and maximum 20 participants.

Timelines :
** 30th November – Last day for registration
** 15th November – Hospitality registration. Bookings can be confirmed based on “First come, first served” and and subject to availability.
** Grand Finale – 13th to 15th Jan at New Delhi area.

Challenge & Scoring :
** Design a robot either wired or wireless within the specified dimensions that can operated manually and can travel through all turns of the track. The robot that will complete the specified task in least time will be the winner.

** In the shortest period of time the racer must complete the set number of laps from the starting position to the finish, without going outside the track.
** The competition area has is a special place defined for the robot’s operation (hereafter COMPETITION FIELD).
** The ROBOT which will start on the START point and reach the FINISH point block by various laps and hurdles in the shortest time will be nominated the winner.

** Every team will have 2 trial runs. After the trials are over, the fastest time achieved during those trials will be chosen for the team. One trial should not last more than five minutes. After the trial time is over, the TIME-UP BUZZER will sound and the team will be asked to remove the robot from the COMPETITION FIELD.

If the robot is on the field half way and operating during the TIME-UP BUZZER sound, the team will be given 2 more minutes so the robot operation is not interrupted.

Scoring :
** 5 Points: Make your robot and upload on Youtube and ensure following:
– Use subject line “TechnoXian2017 WRC ”
– Write discription of your preperation for Technoxian 2017 with minimum 150 words.
– Mail youtube link at info[at]technoxian.co by 15th
** 5 Points: Maximum 5 points will be awarded to teams based on number of reviews on youtube. 1 point will be given on each 50 reviews.
** 90 Points: Fastest reaching to finish line during competition.

The Robot :
Dimensions:
The following size limitations apply for each robot.
** Width – 25 centimeters max
** Length – 25 centimeters max
** Height – no limit
** The robot may be wired or wireless.
** The length of the wire (for wired bots) should be long enough to cover the whole track and wire should remain slack during the complete run.
** Maximum weight must not exceed 3 kg.
** The participants will be provided with 220 Volts, 50Hz standard AC supply. Participants will have to themselves arrange for adaptor or batteries.
** The machine must not be made from Lego parts, or any ready-made kit. Such machine will be disqualified.

Power Source:
** The machine must be powered electrically only. Use of IC engine is not allowed.
** Batteries must be sealed, immobilized electrolyte type (gel cell, lithium, NiCad, or dry cells).
** The electric voltage anywhere in the machine should not be more then 12V DC at any point of time.

Construction:
Any robot kit or building material may be used, as long as the robot fits the above specifications and as long as the design and construction are primarily the original work of the team.
