Online Abacus Competition:
1. Eligibility:
All Students studied in the centers of JELS, Abacus classes of JELS conducted at schools and the students of abacus from other companies or institutes are eligible to participate in the Online Abacus competition.

2. Administrative Details:
Venue: Bosco Public School, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi.
Date : 27 Nov 2016
Prize Distribution (Tentative date) : 25.12.16
Competition Fee : ABACUS Rs.750.00 (Category – with and/or without abacus and / or Champion of Champions) VEDIC MATHS :Rs.750.00 per participation
Application Last date : 04.11.16
Application Last date with late fee : 11.11.16
3. Applications:
** Students appearing for competition should only apply. The application available on www.jayavidya.com
** Application forms are also available at JELS Centers and participating institutes
4. Last Date of Application
** Students appearing for the competition exam should submit the online or offline applications before or until 04.11.16
** Last date of submission of forms at head office (Without late fees: 07.11.16/With late fees: 14.11.16)

5. Competition fee:
Each student appearing for the Abacus competition exam should pay Rs.750.00 (Category – with and/or without abacus and / or Champion of Champions)
Vedic Maths :Rs.750.00 per participation
6. Competition Level & Groups [age wise]:
The abacus competition will be conducted Level-wise in different Age groups.
With Abacus: Junior Level 0 to Junior Level 6 and Senior Level 0 to Senior Level 8
Without Abacus: Junior Level 1 to Junior Level 6 and Senior Level 1 to Senior Level 8
Champion of Champions (Without Abacus only): Junior Level 2 to Junior Level 6 and Senior Level 2 to Senior Level 8
Vedic Maths: Level 1, 2 and 3
7. Question Paper:
** In order to create even more transparency and ensure that no deserving student may face adversities because of slightest possible human error in invigilation, the pattern of the championship exams is being planned in a different manner.
** The number of questions in each exam is being increased substantially compared to the last year, to an extent that a student may not be able to complete the test in specified time. /li>
** Please tell your students not to be disheartened, as it will happen with all students. You just need to prepare your students so as to improve their speed and accuracy.
** The results will be formulated as a percentile instead of a percentage.
