Nishaan Air Gun Shooting Competition:

It has been decided to conduct the 6th Nishaan Air Gun Shooting Competition & Championship at Nishaan Sports Shooting Academy Range Koramangala – Indoor Stadium, 80ft Rood, 8th Block, Koramangala, Bangalore – 560095. From 30th November to 4th December 2016 with a view to promote Sports Shooting Game in the Karnataka State.

As per the program attached, Shooters from your Association/Unit/Club/Institutes are invited to participate in this open Shooting Competition.Those competitors want to participate in this competition are requested to go through the following instructions carefully for their own convenience and to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the above competitions.

A. Matches:-
1. The competition will be conducted according to ISSF & NRAI rules and regulations.
2. Shooters who have participated in National/International Shooting Competitions are only allowed to take participate in ISSF rules matches (60 Shoots), and fresh shooters are allowed to participate only in NR matches (40 Shoots).
3. The competition will be conducted individually and team events. Teams can be formed by the shooters of the same Association/Unit only in both juniors and seniors category’s. Final entry of three members of the team must be submitted latest by the previous day of the start of the match. Only two team per Association/Unit will be allowed in each event.
4. Shooters taking part in Rifle event are not allowed to take part in Pistol event or vice versa.
5. Finals will be conducted in all ISSF Men/Women Seniors events (If more than 8 participants) date and time will be given at Team Mangers Meeting on 30th November 2016,

B. Eligibility of Juniors & Youth:-
1. Those who are below 20 years/18 years of age as on 31st December 2016 will be considered as Juniors/Youth (1996/1999 onwards) respectively for the Championship.
2. All competitors entering for junior/youth events must attach an attested copy of a certificate of their age proof with their entry forms failing which their applications are liable for rejection.
3. Youth shooters are allowed to participate in junior and seniors category simultaneously. juniors can participate in senior category. iSSF/NR Matches With Extra Entre Fee.

C. Entry Form/ Fee:-
1. Entry Forms can be downloaded from N.S.S.A website. The entries will be accepted through respective Association/Units only. The entry fee should be remitted by Cash/ Bank draft in favour of Nishaan Sports Shooting Academy only, Kindly note that cheques will not be accepted.
2. The entry forms duly completed along with entry fee should be delivered to N.S.S.A office on or before 18th November 2016 late entries with three time’s normal entry fee will be accepted up to 25th November 2016.
3. Entry fee is neither refundable nor adjustable or transferable from one match to another.
4. Protest fee is Rs.500/- and in case an appeal is filed with the Jury of Appeal, then the fee is Rs. 1,500/-. The fee will be returned if the protest is upheld and retained by N.S.S.A if the protest is lost.
