TNBT The Idea Contest :

Kerala with its rich heritage and culture has always been treading in a different path from rest of India, even though there is a large population that is well versed in latest technology and also upcoming generation who are thoroughly educated in all the dimensions yet kerala has to see a boom in IT infrastructure and allied industries.

Theme For The Contest:
The contest is designed is such lines that participants from higher secondary students, under/post-graduates and technology enthusiast can participate and submit their ideas before the panel. There are three themes and one open category against which startups are invited to pitch; themes are – Superior Healthcare, Smarter Cities and Better Society

Contest Details:
Digital Kannur aims to create a knowledge dais through which participants in the Technolodge is given a platform so as to create awareness amongst municipality, cooperation, district administration, district hospital, district tourism, handloom, district bus services, law enforcement and many more.

Judging Criteria:
** The criteria for judging innovations to be published on website made clear to the applicants and for every application rejected , jury should be able to say the demerits based on the judging criteria.
** Initial screening if the application to be done by KTL. Jury to be set up for the 2nd and 3rd round from industry experts
** Candidates to explain why their solution is innovative, how to measure and identify the success and how the solution will generate revenue.
** Weightage to be set up based on our evaluation criteria, extra points for socially & environmentally contributing ideas
