The Altair India is delighted to announce the 6th edition of its popular Optimisation Contest (AOC India 2017)

This FREE* Contest Program is meant for students (UG/PG/Ph.D) of Mechanical, Automobile, Aerospace, Civil & Production Engineering from AICTE approved colleges. This year the contest will cater to different disciplines within CAE (FEA) including Meshing, Linear/Non-Linear Analysis, Optimisation , CFD & MBD using Altair HyperWorks Student Edition.

The objective of the FREE* AOC India 2017 will be for students to get trained in using HyperWorks for CAE/FEA applications and after getting certified offer solutions to a combination of Altair Defined contest problems covering: HyperMesh/HyperView, OptiStruct RADIOSS, AcuSolve & MotionSolve.

Student Contest Awards:
1st Prize:
INR 10,000/- worth Voucher + Certificate of Recognition + opportunity to undertake a 2 months off-site internship with Altair India.

2nd Prize:
INR 5,000/- worth Voucher + Certification of Recognition + opportunity to undertake a 2 months’ off-site internship with Altair India.

All complete submissions submitted by due date will get a Certificate of Participation.

This is a 100% Free Contest. Altair India doesn’t charge any fee for participation in this contest or the training & support for this contest. Contest Schedule
1. Announcement of Program & Registration by Students. Registration will start from September 15, 2016& Last date to Register for the Contest December 15, 2016
2. Upon Registration and Screening Altair will grant access to 1 license of Altair HyperWorks Student Edition License to the eligible Student for FREE September 15, 2016 onwards
3. Online Training Online Training Announced October 10, 2016 onwards Recordings uploaded on YouTube
4. Self-Training & Learning of Altair HyperWorks CAE Solution Post License Download + Install
5. Complete FREE HW Online Certification certification.altairuniversity.com (This is a mandatory step to be completed in order to get the Contest Models and proceed to results sumbission).
6. Contest Scope Definition -January 15, 2017
7. Student Project Creation Phase -January 15, 2017 to March 01, 2017
8. Results, Models and Report Submission Last Date – March 01, 2017 onwards… Last date of Submission is May 30, 2017
9. Announcement of Results -June 30, 2017
10. Awards Presentation – 2017 India ATC (Altair Technology Conference) Date & Venue to be Announced
