VTop50 Contest :

The following Principal and General rules are the rules and regulations which shall be binding on each and every participant who voluntarily agree to participate in the “VTop50 contest” which will be hosted by Star India Private Limited (“STAR”) on the Twitter profile of Channel V, i.e. @ChannelvIndia on Twitter as a part of the promotion and viewer engagement for the program titled “V Top 50”, that is currently being aired on Channel V.

Entrants’ Eligibility:
(a) The Contest is open only to persons who are the citizens of India and shall be of 18 years of age and above.
(b) The Participant must have a valid and existing Twitter account during the Contest Period.
(c) Permanent and/or contract employees and directors of STAR, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively “STAR Entities”) and each of their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the Contest.

Contest Procedure:
(a) The Contest shall start on December 30, 2016 at 2 PM IST and end on December 30, 2016 at 4.30 PM IST (“Contest Period/Period”).

(b) To participate in the Contest, all persons interested in participating and /or Participants shall be mandatorily required to do the following during the Period:
** log in to the Platform using his/her Twitter account/credentials and click on the relevant page/tab of the Contest on the Platform or in any other manner or form as may be prescribed/requested on the Platform.
** For the purpose of participating in this Contest, it is mandatory that the interested Participant(s) mandatorily have a valid Twitter account and must be residing in India during the Period of the Contest;
** Follow the Channel V Twitter Handle on the Twitter Platform;
** Participant(s) shall thereafter be required to correctly answer the objective questions triggered during the Period on the Platform by tweeting the correct answers by using the pre created Hash Tag “#VTop50” (“Hashtag”) (“Answer”).
** It is further clarified that for the purpose of participating in the Contest and to be eligible for the Gratification, it is mandatory to tweet the correct Answer for all the objective questions triggered on the Platform.
** For avoidance of doubt it is clarified that for the purpose of participating in the Contest and to be eligible for the Gratification, it is mandatory each and every Answer should mention the pre-decided Hashtag (as stated above) and Channel V Twitter Handle as mentioned on the Platform.
** For purposes of the Contest, “receipt” of Answer occurs only when the website server records the Answer information upon the entrant clicking “Submit/Post” button.
** For sake of clarity, any automated receipt confirmation shall not constitute proof of actual receipt.

(c) Each Participant(s) consents to the use of information submitted by the Participant(s) including the Answer for the purpose as set out in these Terms and Conditions. The Participant(s) agrees and consents to the use by STAR of the Answer on the Channel V Twitter Handle and/or the Platform, any other social media page of STAR or as STAR may deem fit for the purpose of promotion of the Contest.
