India’s New Blues Contest :

The following are the rules for the “India’s New Blues” contest hosted by Star India Private Limited (“STAR”) for promotion of the Star Sports India Facebook page, available at the URL ) and the Star Sports India Twitter handle, available at the URL twitter.com/starsportsindiathrough the handle @StarSportsIndia.

For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the Star Sports Twitter Handle and the Star Sports Facebook Page shall be collectively referred to as the “Network Handles”. The Contest will be conducted during the PayTM India v England ODI Trophy, 2017 (the “Tournament”).

Any personal information gathered pursuant to this Contest shall be subject to the privacy policy available at https://www.disneystar.com/ (“Privacy Policy“) which is incorporated herein by reference. This Contest shall be subject to the terms and conditions, comprising of the Principal Rules and the General Rules (the “Terms and Conditions”) as stated hereunder.

Principal Rules:
1. The Contestwill be conducted on each day of the Tournament on which a match of the Tournament (“Match”) is scheduled to be played, during the period commencing from January 15, 2017 and ending on January 22, 2016, or such other date as may be determined by STAR at its sole discretion (“Contest Period”).

For the avoidance of doubt, the contest will be conducted on the following dates (each a “Contest Day”):
a. January 15, 2017;
b. January 19, 2017;
c. January 22, 2017; and,
d. Such other date on which a Match is played is played and is announced by STAR on the Network Handles.

2. The Contest is a game of skill whereby on each Contest Day, the Participants will have to name 1 (one) player from amongst the 3 (three) players chosen by STAR’s studio experts, whose performance in the Match scheduled to be played on the relevant Contest Day, in the Participant’s opinion, will have the maximum influence on the outcome of suchMatch (“Game Changer”).

An official announcement will be made by STAR on the Network Handles and/or on its channels (the “Channels”) inviting Twitter and Facebook users to watch the live studio show that is broadcast before the commencement of each Match on each Contest Day (the “Pre Show”).

During the live broadcast of the Pre Show, STAR’s studio expert(s) will announce the names of the 3 (three) players from among the members of the participating teams (each, a “Player”), whose performances, according to the expert(s), will impact the outcome of the Match to be played on the relevant Contest Day (“Expert’s Picks”).

It is clarified that the Expert’s Picks shall consists of the following :
a. 1 (one) Player from the Indian Cricket Team.
b. 1 (one) Player from the England Cricket Team.
c. 1 (one) wild card Player (from either the Indian Cricket Team or the England Cricket Team).

For the avoidance of doubt, the Expert’s Picks will be announced first on the Pre Show and subsequently on the Network Handles. Participants will be invited to share tweets on Twitter and comments on the Facebook post on the Star Sports Facebook Pageannouncing the Expert’s Picks for the relevant Contest Day containing the name of the Player from amongst the Expert’s Picks, who in their opinion will be the Game Changer for the Match played on the relevant Contest Day.
