Eligibility for Participation :

Participation in the 2015 Science Quiz and Science Camp is open to all students of classes VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI & XII. For the Science Quiz participation is allowed only through Schools and there is no individual participation allowed however for Science camp both individual and through school participation is allowed.

The 2015 Science Quiz is open for all the Students from the States of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and the Union Territories of Pondicherry , Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep Islands.

All the participating students will be divided in the following 3 Grades
Junior Grade – Class VI, VII & VIII
Middle Grade – Class IX & X
Senior Grade – Class XI & XII

The Participation Process :

The 2015 Science Quiz – There is no individual participation allowed for The 2015 Science Quiz. Schools have to fill in the enclosed “Science Quiz Registration Form” and send it to FIITJEE’s Regional Office at Nungambakkam in Chennai. FIITJEE will not charge any amount from the schools towards the quiz conduction.

Awards & Rewards :

Every participant of this quiz will receive a participation Certificate with detailed analysis of his/her Scientific Quotient. All students with score 7 and above will receive a special Certificate. Top ranking Students will receive Diamond and Gold certificates. Top 3 students in each grade from each school will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals subject to minimum of 100 student’s participation from each Grade.

The name of Top 100 Schools (on the basis of Total points scored by the students of that school) will be published in the Quiz Souvenir.

General Rules and regulations :

1. Participation is allowed only through Schools. No individual participation is allowed.

2. The last date of School Registration is 5th October, 2015 for Thursday 15th October 2015 Written Quiz.

3. It is mandatory that each participating Student fills in his / her email ID, Mobile No and postal address in the answer sheet. Incomplete answer sheets will be rejected.

4. The organizers retain the right to make any changes in the event, its format, date and rules and in any matter related to this event, at any time before or during the event.

5. Once you register for the event you indicate your acceptance that the decision of the organizers and quizmaster will be final and binding on all issues related to The 2015 Science Quiz and no correspondence in this regard would be entertained.

6. The medium of communication for this Quiz will be only English.

7. By registering for the event, you also indicate your acceptance that the organizers can send you communication from time to time regarding The 2015 Science Quiz.

8. By entering the event venue and / or participating in the quiz, the attendees permit themselves to be photographed / videographed / recorded by electronic and print mediums for telecast / publication and other display usage of the organizers.

9. All tax liabilities wherever applicable will be the responsibility of the recipients of the prizes.

10. For rules regarding logistics please refer to the registration form.

11. Schools falling under the Union Territories of India (Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Pondicherry) will be considered under the State of Tamilnadu and the Union Territories of India (Lakshadweep Islands) will be considered under the State of Kerala for the purpose of this Quiz.
