NCPCR Poster Competition:

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) invites posters for its ‘Poster Competition’, which aims at recognizing the creative efforts towards promotion and protection of Child Rights.

Participants have to design the poster and develop a corresponding message focused on themes of protection of children against harm/abuse/exploitation etc. and which involves their interest (for example: Child Labour, Child trafficking, Child Marriage, Child begging, Child Sexual Abuse, Superstitious activities and Black magic involving children, use of children in carrying contraband/drugs etc.)

Prizes:
The following prizes will be awarded for the Competition category:
** First prize : Rs. 50,000 /-
** Second prize : Rs. 30,000/-
** Third prize : Rs. 20,000/-

Poster specifications:
** A3 size paper of any colour to develop the poster.
** Either a portrait or landscape orientation for the poster.
** Any colour medium – sketch pens, crayons, coloured pencils, poster or acrylic colours etc.
** The poster should be of an original design and first-hand creation of the participant.
** The poster should include a message which should not be more than 25 words. It should be either in Hindi or in English language.
** Poster should not have been made before 01/01/2015.
** Participants are to submit posters, which visualize the above themes in the following formats: – PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG – Maximum file size: 15 MB – Format: JPEG Poster size (14’’ x 19’’) and (17’’ X 22’’) – Resolution: 300 dpi –
** Colour Mode: RGB or CMYK.
** Up to 10 images can be sent.

The poster must include the following information about the participant:
Name, Contact Details, Complete address, Email id. Entries without this information or those with incomplete information will not be eligible for the competition.

Submission of posters:
Both hard and soft copies of the posters are acceptable. In case a soft copy is submitted it should be on high resolution scanned image in PDF format. The same can be sent at an e-mail ID: indra.ncpcr@gov.in , jyoti.ncpcr@gov.in

After the participant has sent the posters through e-mail he/she also needs to send hard copies of the same to the below mentioned address:

Note:
** This has to be followed by submission of hard copy.
** The last date for receipt of entries at the Commission is 13/02/2017 for both hard as well as soft copies.
** Entries received after this date will not be considered. The Commission reserves the right to use the posters in any dissemination resources that are developed, with due acknowledgement to the artist.
