Offer Period:
Slogan Contest shall be valid from 4th January 2017 to 31st January 2017. Samsung reserves the right to extend or annul the offer period at its discretion.

Place & Outlet Coverage:
** Offer valid in the State of Tamil Nadu only
** Available on purchases from any Outlet selling Samsung Smartphones & Tablets (“Outlet”).
** Offer not applicable on purchases made from e-commerce websites

Product Coverage:
The Slogan Contest is applicable on purchase of Samsung Galaxy Smart phones priced at or above INR10,000 being Galaxy J2-2016, Galaxy J5, Galaxy J7, Galaxy J5 Prime, J7 -2016, J Prime,A5-2016,A7-2016, A9 Pro, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Tab T116,Tab4, Galaxy J Max, Galaxy Tab E 24.3cm(9.6″), Galaxy Tab A 20.3cm(8″) Tab S2 etc (“Product”).Offer not valid on refurbished Products, Samsung Employee Purchases

Eligibility for Participation:
Offer valid for Indian Citizens who have attained the age of 18 years or above, except employees & family members of Samsung & its affiliates/associate/subsidiary companies & their dealers/distributors/retailers, suppliers, advertising agencies & even management companies.

Participation Criteria:
** Participant needs to purchase the new (“Product”) from the Outlet during the Offer Period 4th January 2017 to 31st January 2017
** After purchasing the Product Participant needs to do the following steps –
** To Participate SMS <PONGAL> space <slogan> in 160 characters only to 54242 during 9:00 am to 9:00 pm only.
** SMS charges will be applicable.
** Participant can send only one SMS with Slogan with one mobile number.
** Once the participant sends the SMS in the correct format he/she will receive a return message from Samsung stating as under:
** “Thank you for registering your Slogan. Stay tuned for winner declaration. To know more and T&C visit Pongal Offer page on My Galaxy App on your smartphone”
** If SMS has already been sent earlier from the same mobile number then system will send response to the customer via SMS:
** “Sorry the given mobile number has already been registered.
** If the code is sent after the end date of the Offer (post 1st February 2017), system will send a response to the customer via SMS:
** “Thanks for your interest in Sandosham Pongattum Offer. The program has ended on 31st January 2017. T&Cs Apply”
** If the code is sent after 9 p.m., system will send a response to the customer via SMS:
** “Sorry, your slogan has not been registered. Please register your slogan between 9.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.”

Prize Details/Prize Matrix:
** Bumper Prize – There shall be a total of 9 bumper prizes in total being 3 Volkswagen Polo cars (as first bumper prizes) and 6 Honda bikes 110 cc (as second bumper prizes).
** Weekly Prizes – There shall be a total of 708 weekly prizes in total comprising of 81.28 cm cm (32”) LED TVs (44 in number), 6kg Washing Machines (104 in number), 192L Refrigerators (104 in number), Galaxy J210 Smartphones (456 in number).

Selection of winner:
Winner selection process:
** Winners shall be selected on the basis of the best slogans received during the Contest Period. Weekly prize winners will be announced on 12th January, 19th January, 26th January & 2nd February 2017.
** A Participant shall be eligible to win only one prize during the Contest Period.
** The Bumper prize winner shall be declared on 5th February 2017.
** Winners shall be selected by Samsung or its authorized third party agency.

Documents to be submitted by the Participant for availing the Prize:
Following documents needs to be submitted within 7 days either from date of intimation to the winner through telephone/SMS/email or from the declaration of the winners on www.samsung.com/in/offer/pongal-2017/mobile/ whichever is earlier.

** Name, Address, Contact number, Alternate Mobile number, email id
** Copy of Invoice for the purchase – whether within the offer period
** Copy of PAN card
** Valid POA & POI – Voter ID Card, Aadhaar card, Driving licence, passport (Self Attested), electricity bill (not older than last 6 months)
** Any other document as informed or required by the Company. For collecting the Prizes winners needs to carry the originals of the above mentioned documents.

Verification of the documents & contacting the winners:
** Documents submitted by the winners will be subjected to verification and validation by Samsung directly or through its authorized third party agency which may be stationed in India or Outside.
** Post verification & validation the eligible winners will be informed through telephone/SMS/email as submitted by them at the time of participation.
** The call centers engaged for the same will be calling the winners during Monday to Saturday between 9:30am to 6:30pm respectively.
** The date, time & venue for collecting the Prizes shall be informed to the winners and the same will be subject to submission of valid documents and applicable taxes as detailed in the clauses below.
** In case any documents are prima facie found to be false & fabricated, the entry of such Participant/winner shall be disqualified and no claims shall be entertained in this regard.

Delivery of Prize:
Post verification Prizes will be handed over to the winners only at the date, time & venue communicated to the winners.
