ABOUT CREATE 2017 :
MPC feels proud to host state level project competition cum exhibition “CREATE 2017”. It provides an excellent opportunity to the students to showcase their talent, innovative design orientation and untapped potential.

The goal of this competition is to prepare the future generation of engineers, not only as problem solvers but also to be innovative leaders and responsible citizens. Project enables students and faculty to transform their learning into knowledge, knowledge into action, action into practice.

The contest helps students to reconsolidate their knowledge and professional skills and prepare them for industry readiness. This may result to turn student’s engineering projects into prize winning entries and may transform project into commercial product.

Streams Identified:
Keeping in mind to give an opportunity to the diploma students in every sphere the following streams were identified for the event. The prizes are to be awarded stream wise separately.

** Mechanical & Allied
** Civil & Allied
** Electrical & Allied
** Electronics & Allied
** Computer & Allied

Eligibility Criteria:
** Polytechnic College students from all branches of Engineering and Technology are eligible to participate.
** A Project Team consists of Student Members and a Faculty Guide. A Faculty Guide is recommended but not mandatory.
** Maximum 5 members per team. Each individual member must satisfy all conditions of eligibility.

Registration Details:
** Interested students has to submit an abstract of the Project not exceeding 300 words through their head of the Institutions on or before 18-01- 2017 to mptiste@gmail.com
** Maximum 3 entries per stream can be recommended by the Head of institutions
** Shortlisted entries will be informed to the Head of the Institutions by email on 27-01-2017.
** Shortlisted students for the competition are required to register by submitting the registration form duly signed by the Head of the Institution with non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 100/- per project by D.D/Cheque in favour of “Murugappa Polytechnic College”, payable at Chennai on or before 7th February 2017.

Prizes:
Cash Prizes with Medals and the certificates to the winners will be awarded for all the streams separately.

I Prize – Rs. 5,000/-
II Prize – Rs. 3,000/-
III Prize – Rs. 2,000/-

** Participation Certificates will be awarded for all the registered candidates.
** Certificates will be awarded to Faculty Guides
** Momento with certificate will be awarded to the prize winning institutions.

ACCOMMODATION : No accommodation available for the participants at the institute.
TA/DA : No TA/DA will be paid by the organizers. Travelling and other expenses are to be borne by the participants.
