Rules :
1) Any theme listed
2) Time limit : Minimum 15 minutes (Team exceeding time limit will be disqualified)
3) Team Size : Minimum 5 & Maximum 10
4) Only two musical instruments are allowed
5) Participants must bring their current year college IDcard. Registration form (principal’s sign and seal) must be submitted to Kaveri College at the Registration Counter
6) Host will not provide any drapery, instrument
7) Venue of the Competition : College Stilts

Know About Gifted Program :
If India is to progress as a nation, we need to value and nurture our children and youth. At the Kaveri Gifted Education Center, we firmly believe that gifted children have the potential to become leaders and change makers.

These children demonstrate high capability in intellectual, creative, artistic areas, leadership capacity, or in specific academic fields. It is estimated that 19 million children (6-15 years) are gifted in India, making it even more essential to recognize and nurture their potential.

Most gifted children learn quickly and need advanced material as they are a mismatch with typical curricula and instructions. Moreover, they have unique socio-emotional needs and challenges, which when neglected, result in boredom or disruption in the classroom, or isolation due to incompatibility with age peers.

Which is why, some gifted children tend to mask their potential and underachieve. Kaveri Gifted Education Center was established in 2014 with the aim of identifying and nurturing gifted children to help them meet their potential.

What do we mean by gifted?:
Giftedness refers to exceptional potential or high capability in intellectual, creative, artistic areas, leadership capacity, or in specific academic fields.

Currently, Kaveri Gifted Education Center identifies gifted children with superior intellectual ability as measured by standardized I.Q. tests. We propose to widen this definition by including specific academic domains like gifted in science or math and non-academic areas like gifted in visual arts, gifted in sports and music.

Here are some characteristics which can be observed among the gifted:
** Exceptional reasoning ability
** Strong Curiosity
** Rapid learning rate
** Vivid Imagination
** Extensive vocabulary
** Questions authority
** Perfectionism
** High emotional sensitivity
** Having a wide range of interests
** Morally sensitive

We offer nurturing programs for gifted children identified at age 10 years and above.

Objectives of the nurturing program:
** To create awareness within the gifted child about his or her giftedness and its challenges.
** To develop physical, sensory, socio-emotional, cognitive and spiritual facets of the gifted child.
** To develop higher order thinking skills and life skills
** To identify the child’s strengths and support areas of concern
