These Terms of Use apply to the participation in the”MORE Hapag-Lloyd contest” which Hapag-Lloyd AG (“Hapag-Lloyd”) is running. Access to the contest is restricted to current or potential customers.

Hapag-Lloyd employees are not eligible for the contest.

Access to the Website:
In order to participate in the contest, a participant must first register on the Hapag-Lloyd Website using his first and last names and company email address, along with the name of their company of employment. The participant must then indicate his acceptance of the Terms of Use.

Participation in the Competition:
A participant can register from March 1st, 2017 until March 31st, 2017 (24:00 [midnight] Central European Time). Participation in the contest is open to all Hapag-Lloyd customers (or potential customers) who have registered on the Website, who are 18 years of age at the time of participation and who have correctly answered the contest question asked at time of registration. Participation in the Competition is voluntary and free of charge.

Determination of Competition winners:
A notary will select a winner from the entire pool of contest participants. The prize is a trip for two, between two ports on a Hapag-Lloyd container vessel. The additional person can be a family member over the age of 18. The costs of travel and accommodation to and from the port must be borne by the winner.

A prize cannot be paid out in cash form. Hapag-Lloyd reserves the right to set and change the prizes and can make changes to the Competition terms and conditions without notice. No participant has any legally enforceable right or claim to a prize. Prizes are non-transferable.

Withdrawal from Competition:
The participant may without any requirement to state reasons withdraw from the Competition at any time up until it closes and demand deletion of his information. All the participant needs to do in order to exercise this right is send a simple message to this effect to presse@hlag.com. By demanding deletion of his information in this way, the participant revokes with effect from that point on all grants of rights of his entry to the contest.

Applicability of other provisions:
The Hapag-Lloyd Website Terms of Use and the Hapag-Lloyd Privacy Statement supplement and form part of these Terms of Use.

Applicable law:
To the extent permissible by law, these Terms of Use are governed by laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
