Behtar India Contest :

The rules and regulations contained herein (hereinafter referred to as “Rules”) apply to the contest Behtar India (“the Contest”). There is no Contest entry cost.

The Contest has been jointly initiated by New Delhi Television Limited (“NDTV”)

Eligibility:
The Contest is open to all students and schools of all states and union territories of India. Initiator

Contest Period:
The contest begins from 12 am on 01 April 2017 and ends at 8 pm on 15th September 2017 (“the Contest Period”). Any task completed before or after the Contest Period will not considered valid for computation of points.

Registration Period :
The registration begins from 12 am on 07 Mar 2017 and ends at 8 pm on 01 Sep 2017 (the registration period)

How to Enter:
The entrant school principal/ teacher coordinator should visit www.ndtv.com/behtarindia and click on register. The necessary fields must be filled up. The official email id of the school will be the unique registering code.

All participating school students must visit www.ndtv.com/behtarindia and register themselves. They must tag themselves to their school. A unique email is a must for registering any student.

Judging Criteria:
Schools and students will have to complete all three tasks successfully. Thereafter schools and students with maximum points at each level, as per winning slots, would be declared the winner. The decision of the Initiators shall be final and binding in this regard.

General Terms :
1. It is the responsibility of winners to ensure their contact details are current and up to date.
2. Mere participation in the Contest does not entitle a participant to win a prize.
3. The Management of the Initiators & its subsidiaries/group companies reserve the right to cancel/ postpone/ stop this Contest at its discretion or change all or any part of the Rules that are applicable, without giving prior intimation of any kind and being liable for any consequential losses/ damages.
4. Nothing herein amounts to a commitment or representation by the Initiators to conduct further or other schemes/ contest.

5. Comments of winners or materials sent to the Initiators including feedback and other communications of any kind shall be deemed to be non-confidential. The Initiators are free to reproduce, distribute and publicly display such feedback and Contest entries without limitations or obligation of any kind.

The Initiators are also free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in such feedback for any purpose.

The Initiators reserve the right to analyze and summarize data that they collect and also reserve the right to publish, distribute, share summaries of the data collected with sponsors or other business partners without limitations or obligations of any kind.

6. It is the sole responsibility of the participants to ensure that they are entitled to participate in the Contest as per the applicable law in of the territory where they reside.

7. The Initiators are fully committed to following laws related to the collection of data. The participants are required to give us the correct details about yourself and the Initiators will not be liable for any damages direct or indirect for any wrong data submitted.

8. The decision of the Initiators and/ or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents with respect to the Contest, any matter related thereto will be final and binding on all participants and no questions, correspondence, enquiries, etc. on the manner of conduct of the Contest from any party whatsoever will be entertained.

9. The Initiators reserve the right to cancel or postpone the contest without giving any reason and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation or postponement.
