IFFS Film Festival:

There will be an International Level competition for Documentaries, Feature Films, Animation and Short Fiction and Music Videos produced or co-produced outside India between 1st Jan 2014 and 10th May 2017.

The following awards will be given:
a) Best Documentary
c) Best Short Fiction (less than 40 minutes)
d) Best Feature Film
d) Best Animation
e) Best Music Video (7 minutes and below)

National Competition:
There will be a National Level competition for Documentaries, Feature Films, Animation and Short Fiction and Music Videos produced or co-produced in India between 1st Jan 2014 and 10th May 2017.

The following awards will be given:
a) Best Documentary
b) Best Short Fiction (less than 40 minutes)
c) Best Feature Film
d) Best Animation
e) Best Music Video (7 minutes and below)

State Level Competition:
Documentaries, Feature Films, Animation and Short Fiction and Music Videos produced in any of the dialects of Himachal between 1st Jan 2014 and 10th May 2017 will be eligible for the State level competition. This competition will be exclusively for bonafide Himachali only.

The following awards will be given in state level competition:
a) Best Film Award:
Festival Entry Fees for All National & State Competition Categories :
** Documentary Film – INR 2000
** Short Fiction Film – INR 2000
** Feature Film – INR 3000
** Animation Film – INR 1500
** Music Video – INR 1500

For all International Categories Festival Fee will be $50 USD

Payment Instruction:
** Demand Draft (Nationalised Bank Only) should be in the name of “Himalayan Velocity” payable at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
** Film Maker can also make payment online & send the payment receipt on e-mail id: info@iffs.in

** Last Date for submitting the Completed Entry Form and Preview Material is May 15, 2017.
** Preview material will not be returned.
** The Preview Parcel must state clearly: NO COMMERICAL VALUE. FOR FESTIVAL PREVIEW ONLY. The festival will not cover any expense regarding this matter.
** Send Preview parcel by India Post- Speed Post Only. (No Private courrier )
