NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION 2015-16 :
The National Talent Search Examination will be conducted for students studying at class IX and class X. The examination will be conduced in two stages:- Stage 1 (Preliminary) and Stage 2(Advance).

Scholarships: About 1% of students of stage 2 qualified students will be provided Rs.500/- per month until the completion of class XII .

Reservation: 10% for students belonging to SC category, 5% for students belonging to ST category and 1% for Physically Challenged group of students.

Selection: Qualifiers of Stage 1 will be eligible for Stage 2 Examination.

Qualifying Marks: Qualifying marks for general category is 40% in each paper and for SC,ST and Physically Challenged students 35% in each paper.

Language Test: Qualifying in nature and marks obtained for language test will not be conduct for final merit.

Important dates: Dates for submission of form and conduct of exam are given below:

Eligibility: All students of class IX and X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear in stage 1, conducted by the district, in which the school is located. Their will be no domicile restriction.

Student registered for the open distance learning (ODL) will also be eligible for the scholarship, provided student age must be under 17 years.

Examination: The pattern of examination will be as follows:-
Stage 1 examination at the district level will be compressed of two parts, namely (a) Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) (b) Language Test (LT) and (c) Scholastic Aptitude Test.

Last date of submission of form offline 25 September 2015 (Saturday)
Last date of submission of form online 30 September 2015 (Friday)
Date of conduct of examination in Raipur 11 October 2015(Sunday)

Application forms: forms are provided by school facilities or online form facility also available at website rsacademy.co.in .

The complete form should be signed by the principal of the school much before the last date of submission. The candidate as well as the Principal of the school must adhere to the last date of submission. Different districts may have different last date of submission. Please confirm from the contact details given below .

Fees: Fees for the exam is Rs. 200/-. Fee will be charged only for the stage 1 only and no fee will be charged for the stage 2.

Candidates may fill up the application form, available on the institute website and undersigned along with a proper photocopy mark sheet of previous examination, latest by September 25th 2015.
