For the Taal 2017 Indian Electronic Music Producers Contest we have chosen the following 3 judges and experts in electronic music production.

Contest rules and regulations:
By entering this contest you acknowledge that you have read & agree to these terms and conditions
** This contest is void where prohibited by state or local law.
** This contest is only applicable to Indian Nationals residing in India.
** Contestants must download the sample pack provided by Crypto Cipher and use a minimum of 6 samples in their submission.
** Contestants may use any other content in addition, however it is the responsibility of the contestant to make sure the samples are cleared and not copyrighted. If any elements of the submission are copyrighted, the contest will not be held responsible. It is the responsibility of the contestant to secure permission for use of those elements.
** Contestants are allowed to work on any DAW and any platform to produce the music.
** Only electronic submission via SoundCloud will be accepted.
** In SoundCloud, set the track’s custom genre to ‘Taal2017’
** Entries submitted after the Last Date of May 15th will not be eligible and automatically disqualified.
** All entries (SoundCloud links) must be emailed to Taal2017@cryptocipher.in
** The SoundCloud link must be public.
** Entries must be no shorter than 2 minutes and no longer than 5 minutes.
** The entries will be judged on the most creative use of the samples provided and overall musicality and production.
** Each contestant may only submit a single entry.
** Full tuition scholarship to the GMI ‘Music Production with Ableton Live’ course for Fall’17 is only valid for the specified course and semester and cannot be transferred to another program or semester.

This contest was created to provide a platform for up-and-coming music producers in India specifically, so we request that you as a participant respect the spirit of the contest and take part only if you are an unsigned producer residing in, and a citizen of India. We will ensure that the winner chosen does fall in this category.
