Online Photography Contest:

The contest is open to all the students upto class 12. We also invite moms and dads to participate in this contest.

There are 4 categories, each with a different theme as:
** Till Class V: Colours of Life
** Classes VI–VIII: Wonders of Nature
** Classes IX–XII: Spirit of Art
** Moms & Dads: Crazy Kids

For the first 3 categories, the photographs should be clicked by students of that class category. For the last category, the photographs should have kids pictures taken by the parents.

How to Participate:
Enter the contest by providing the required information in the entry form on the website(here).

Eligibility:
** The contest is open to all children up to class 12.
** Entrants require the permission of a parent or guardian. By entering the contest, it is assumed that entrants have obtained the permission of a parent or guardian.

Submission Rules:
Entrants can submit up to five photographs. The more photos you upload the greater is the chance to win.

What we want:
** Photos that inspire others to look at and appreciate the built world around them.
** Photo should be an original work by the person entering it. All parts of the photo must be taken by you.
** Each photo submitted can be of any of the formats.
** They must also be under 10MB in size.

What we don’t want:
** Late entries, once the competition is closed we will not accept photographs.
** Photographs which have embedded text, borders or are locked will not be accepted.
** Submissions that have won other photography competitions are also not allowed.
** Photos submitted can have only basic editing. No cloning or major editing are allowed. In case of doubt, the judge might request original files.

Who can participate in the contest?

How many photos can I submit?
You can submit upto 5 photos. One of the photos should be in black and white

What is the cost of participation?
This contest is completely FREE. The objective of this contest is to promote talent in photography among school students.

Can I submit any photograph?
No, you can’t submit any photograph. There are different themes for different categories
a) Upto Class V: Colors of Life
b) Classes VI-VIII: Wonders of Nature
c) Classes IX-XII: Spirit of Art
d) Moms and Dads: Crazy Kids

What if I get nominated for multiple prizes?
In case you are nominated for multiple prizes, you will be eligible for only one prize of higher value.

When is the Last Date for submitting photographs?
You can submit photographs till mid-Jul’17.

When will the winners be announced?
The final winners will be announced in Jul’17.

How do I vote on photos?
Click “Vote icon” in the lower left to vote on photos. The photos will be presented randomly, you can either vote for a photo or skip it. A person can vote once per day on each photo.

How do I gain more votes on my photos?
To gain as many votes as possible on your photos, make sure to use the different share buttons to share them on your social networks. The sooner you enter the competition the more votes you will be able to gather and the higher is your chance to win an Award.

Are stock photos allowed?
No, all parts of the photo must be taken by you.

What size and format should I upload photos in?
You can upload photos in .png, .jpeg, .gif, .jpg format upto 10 MB.

I had uploaded a photo yesterday but can’t find it?
We monitor the platform on a continuous basis and remove photos if they are not relevant to the theme for the category or have objectionable content/visual.
