Process:
Step-1: Invitation
A personal letter from the Founder and Chief Mr. Deepak Thimaya shall be sent to heads of schools. The letter describes the importance of the role played by Verbattle in making a difference to the life and the future of a child and youth. However, it is not imperative that only the schools that have received an invitation are allowed to participate.

Step-2: Tele calling
Tele-callers who are part of the Verbattle team will call the heads of school who were sent a letter of invitation about the response to the invitation as well as the participation from the school.

Step-3 : Delivery of Kits and visit by Verbattle Team Members
A Verbattle Kit containing Application Forms, specific publicity material, and a copy of a film will be couriered or delivered to the school office. A Verbattle representative will meet the principal or the concerned staff and extend a personal invitation, as well as clarify and clear up questions and provide more details.

Step-4 : Enquiry through Tele callers
All the interested schools find teams that would like to participate and motivate the prospective students. They also provide information to the selected mentor teacher. Schools will help in the registration process and assist in the smooth completion of the registration through the tele-callers of the Verbattle team.

Step-5 : Team visit with posters
A team of Verbattle resource people visit interested schools to meet the mentor teacher. The interested students are instructed on the conduct of Verbattle and learn some winning secrets. A few instructional films along with a formal Power Point Presentation will also be shown.
