DRAWING COMPETITION GUIDELINES :
Eligibility: Any students from 6th to 8th standards (Level 1), 9th & 10th standards (Level 2) and pre-college students from PUC & DEGREE standards (Level 3) can participate.

Participation Criteria: Eligible students must register along with the registration amount under their respective Schools and colleges within the due date specified on the contest page under the prescribed format and procedure of Hindustan Pictures & Services. The HPS Art Competition participation registration form, registration amount and Completed Drawing chart can be submit to their respective Schools and Colleges.

ACCEPTED MEDIA AND TECHNIQUE REQUIREMENTS :
Working technique: must be done by hand

Chart size: A3/Quarter Imperial (297mm x 420mm to 279mm to 420mm)

Paintings: oil, acrylics, watercolour, tempera, poster, etc.)

Drawing materials: (pencil, charcoal, colour chalk, pastels, oil pastels, colour pencils, markers, water colours etc.)

Collage materials: (cut and glued papers, such as construction paper, tissue papers, wrapping paper, aluminium foil, etc.)

Note: Students are encouraged to use bold colours and strong lines.

Entry: Paid entry (Entry fees has been notified at your respective Schools & Colleges and Notice Board)

DRAWING CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS :
Each drawing must be original in concept, design, and execution and may not violate. Any entry that has been copied from an existing photo or image (including a painting, graphic, advertisement or scanned reproduction) that was created by someone other than the student is a violation of the competition rules and will not be accepted.

Any artwork that depicts copyrighted images will be rejected. For example, no artworks depicting characters from television shows, movies, video games, or books will be accepted. All artworks must be original ideas and created entirely by the students only.

Artwork can be realistic or abstract. You may include people and animals in your artwork.

Only individual entries are permitted – no group entries or school entries will be considered.

Do not attach labels, ribbons, etc.,

Please indicate which side is up by marking arrows pointing towards the top on the back.

The Registration Form shall duly be signed by the authorized of the participant (i.e. Principal/ event – in-charge), which shall constitute the consent for participation in the Contest as well as acceptance of the terms and conditions set out herein.

Participant without entry fees will not be eligible for the competition.

The selection process of the Contest Winner will takes place on or before 15 November 2015. The Jury members will rank the arts / drawings which have been received. The verdict of the Jury will be final and undisputable. Winners will be intimated to the respective schools / colleges within the above mentioned date and THE BEST ART WILL BE DISPLAYED IN HINDUSTAN PICTURES & SERVICES WEBSITE (hpsspl.com) AND WILL BE SHOW CASED IN THE FORTH COMING EXHIBITION.

Decision taken by HPSSPL will be final on the event process with or without the prior notice to participants on conditions.

Judging Criteria: A selection committee will review artwork submissions based on the following criteria:
Interpretation of the theme
Technical skill
Originality

Prizes: THE BEST DRAWING-2015 – Bangalore South of the year will receive an existing cash award. The overall jury selection of the best 30 Drawing work, will be included in gallery exhibits below the best drawing award winners.

Copyright: Copyright You warrant that submitted artworks have been created by you, and that you own all necessary rights to use the artworks for participating in Hindustan Pictures & Services THE BEST DRAWING competition. In particular, the artworks must not violate or infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and no other party must have any rights, claim or interest in the artwork.

Artworks that fail to comply with these copyrights conditions will be disqualified.

Usage of Entry The copyrights of submitted artworks will remain with the artists at all times. However, the competition participants agree to grant HPSSPL permission to use the artworks for promotional purposes, without further permissions or remunerations, in its publications, including electronic media or printed materials, including website, online galleries, online magazines, as well as other forms (potentially with third-party publications) for the expressed purpose of promoting the artworks, the artists and HPSSPL.

Any artwork used by HPSSPL will credit the artist. Images submitted may be used for by the best Drawing contest Awards promo.

NOTE: Each Drawing page TOP Right Corner must contain: Name of the Participant, Address for communication, E-mail ID, Contact Number, Name of the school / College with address Phone no and email id.

Dead Line for Submitting the Drawing: 10th NOVEMBER 2015
