Essay Competition :

In order to promote gender equality as guaranteed by Article 15 of the Indian Constitution there is a need to change the mode of interaction at all levels-at home, school, college, universities and the workplace

To facilitate and increase the outreach for creating an environment that fosters equal treatment, the Government of India, has envisaged the nurturing of gender equality in all educational institutions across the country

Students are now envisaged as responsible leaders who will facilitate an enabling environment within their schools/colleges/educational institutions where girls are treated with dignity and respect.

Keeping the above objectives in view, Mizoram University Gender Champions Cell is organising an essay competition for all students and research scholars of Mizoram University on the topic: ‘Gender Equality and Mizoram’.

The following aspects are applicable :
i. Word limit : Adhering to a minimum of 2,500 words and a maximum of 4,000 words.
ii. Style : In legible penmanship or typed -Times New Roman 12 size font, 1.5’ space
iii. Format : In either hard or soft copy.
iv. Last Date : 12th June 2017.
