Essay Competition:
The Aeronautical Society of India Invites entries for

a) HAL ESSAY Competition – 2015:
(Sponsored by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited)

Subjects:
i) Initiatives needed to bridge the technology gaps in Indian Defence sector vis-a- vis foreign advancements.
ii) “Make in India” A Successful strategy in multi-faceted Aviation & Defence Industries

b) PHL ESSAY Competition – 2015:
(Sponsored by Pawan Hans Helicopter Limited)

Subjects:
i) Safety of Helicopter Operations in India.
ii) Flight Tracking System for Helicopters.

Prizes:
Best Entry on each of the four subjects shall be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- and a certificate.

Rules:
An Entry should not be more than 3000 words, and be submitted in three type written copies. Author to provide his/her name , address, date of birth, employment status/parent organization, Mobile/telephone/fax nos., and email id for further communications. Also one Passport size photograph of the author is to be enclosed along with each entry.

Last Date:
Last date for receiving the entries is 15 Nov 2015. Results of the competitions would be announced by 31 Dec 2015.

This Award is restricted to once in three years to a particular individual.
