National Science Olympiad :

The NSO tests will be held on 2 dates: 4th Oct and 11th Sept 2017

Registration of Students:
Students can fill in the registration by Online Registration form or by Registration forms sent to the registered Asiad Schools. Registered Students along with the applicant school, question papers along with examination requisites will be sent before the due date of examination.

Schools / Principals / Teachers can get registered without any charges or any fee. Also Schools voluntarily participating to be a registered examination centre will have no charges applied.

Important Information:
Schools who are not registered may request for registration by sending an e-mail to reachus@asiadedu.in or by giving a miss call at 9212108750.

Fees:
A nominal fee is collected from the student for participation. Certain part will be retained by the school for administration and other exam centres expenses.

The National SERA Olympiad paper consists of:
(1) Science [S]
(2) English [E]
(3) Reasoning [R]
(4) Astute Section [A]

Note:
Test will be conducted in English Language

** Question Paper will be on an OMR Sheet with Pen and Paper mode

Rules and Regulations of Test Centre:
1. Before entering the examination room all candidates must show a valid government photo ID such as a passport, student ID card, or driver’s license, so their names and personal data can be checked against the registration list for the examination. Those who fail to produce such identification will not be allowed to give the examination.

2. Arrive at the centre 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled test start time. If you arrive late, you will not be allowed to take the test

3. Leave all personal belongings in the designated belongings area. The only items you may bring into the test room are your approved identity document, standard pen(s), pencil(s) and eraser(s), and a bottle of water (label-free). All electronic devices must be left in the belongings area and must be switched off.

Centres may use metal detectors to scan for electronic devices. Any Participant(s) who breaches these conditions will not receive MAEA test result. While the centre will take all reasonable measures to secure your items in the belongings area, they cannot be held responsible for any loss

4. Candidates must sit at their designated seats
5. Keep only the following items on your desk: your identity document, pen(s), pencil(s), eraser(s), and a bottle of water (label-free).
6. Candidates must adhere to strict silence, remain seated at all times and raise hands if assistance is required
7. Participant(s) may not ask for, and will not be given, any explanation of the test questions.
8. Attend all four components of the test. If you do not attend all four components, you will not receive MAEA test result.
9. Complaints relating to the delivery of the test will not be accepted after test day.
10. Only one candidate at a time will be allowed to leave the room. Candidates who finish their examination early and leave may not re-enter the examination hall.
11. No extra time allocated except for disabled students Should an emergency alarm be raised during the examination, candidates should await and adhere to further instructions from the examiner
12. Leave all test materials in the test room at the end of the test. The test materials include question papers, Speaking booklets, answer sheets and rough paper.
13. Any Participant(s) who attempts to remove test materials from the test room will not receive MAEA test result
14. Under no circumstances may candidates remove completed examination booklets or parts of the examination booklets from the examination hall.
