Essay Writing Competition:

NIRC of ICSI is organizing an all India Essay Writing Competition for the students on the following theme: “New Initiatives of Government of India to Boost up Indian Economy”

Registered students of ICSI pursuing Foundation/Executive /Professional Program are eligible to participate. Final/ Professional passed students are not allowed to participate.

Note:
** Essay should be written in English only. The essay must be student’s own original work and not to be copied from any source.
** In case, any material has been quoted from any published/unpublished source, then appropriate information of the same, should be mentioned through bibliography.
** The Institute may also apply plagiarism study.
** Neatly typed essay should be submitted in soft copy via e- mail to himanshu.sharma@icsi.edu . The font should be in Times New Roman, having 12 size with double spacing.
** The matter should be in A4 size standard paper. Hand written copies shall not be accepted.
** Three sets of same in hard copy with covering letter (bearing student’s details) are also required to be sent by post in a duly sealed cover super-scribed with ‘Essay Writing Competition-2017’ at the address – The Chairman, NIRC-ICSI, Plot No. 4, Prasad Nagar Institutional Area, Near Rajendra Place, New Delhi – 110005.
** Decision of jury shall be final & binding on all the participants.
** Best Essay will be selected by the penal of Judges and a “Memento/Commendation Certificate” would be presented to the Winner of the above said National event at the ensuing convocation of the institute.
** Date & venue of the same shall be announced later on.

Rules :
** Topic: “New Initiatives of Government of India to Boost up Indian Economy”
** The last date for the submission of Essay – 15th July, 2017.
** Registered students pursuing Foundation, Executive & Professional Program are eligible to participate.
** Final/ Professional passed students are not allowed to participate.
** Maximum word limit – 1500 words.
** The language should be English only.
** The essay should be typed in times new roman, 12 size with double spacing. The hand written essays will not be accepted. The matter should be in A4 size standard paper.
** The essay should be the original work of the student and it should not be copied from anywhere.
** The writing should not have grammatical error as well as overlapping of contents.
** There should be structural coherence. The introduction and conclusion of the essay should be proper and rational.
** The evaluation will be made on the basis of content, coverage, facts, writing spirit inclined towards the topic and logical presentation with due rational.
** The decision of the Jury shall be final & binding on all the participants.
** The Essay should be submitted in soft copy via e-mail: himanshu.sharma@icsi.edu as well as three set in hard copy with covering letter bearing Student name, registration no. & contact no. at NIRC Office, ICSI-NIRC Building, Plot No.4, Prasad Nagar Institutional Area, Near Rajendra Place, New Delhi – 110005.
