How to participate in Mi Music Festival?
Users need to submit an original composition or cover in .mp3 format on Mi Community following contest guidelines between June 16 8PM – June 22 1200 midnight to participate in the contest. Uploaded composition should be between 20 seconds and 30 seconds to be considered to be as a valid entry.

What are the contest start and end dates?
June 16 8 PM – June 22, 2017 1200 midnight.

What should be the duration of the music file/ composition?
Your original composition or cover should be above 20 Seconds and below 30 Seconds to be considered as a valid entry.

Can I submit multiple entries?
No. Users submitting multiples entries will be disqualified.

How do I create my music?
To keep it fair for everyone, we suggest you to go through the tutorial below. The tutorial also carries a visual guidance from creating the music to uploading it on Mi Community.

What are the criteria(s) for a valid entry?
The submitted piece of music should follow the below mentioned guidelines:
** Users should use the app suggested on Mi Community tutorial
** Either an original composition or a cover of your favourite artist.
** Duration: Between 20 Sec and 30 Sec
** Format – .mp3
** File Size – Below 3 Mb
** Only one entry per user.
** Users submitting multiple entries will be disqualified.

What can lead to disqualification of the entries?
** Multiple entries from same Mi ID/ User.
** Files lower than 20 Seconds or higher than 30 Seconds in duration.
** Inaudible uploads – No sound or Zero KB uploads.
** Entries non-complaint with terms & conditions.

What are the prizes to be won & winner declaration timelines for this contest?
Winner Declaration :
** Upon contest closure – June 22nd, 2017, Mi India will evaluate all entries and declare the top 25 selected entries for further voting from Mi Fans.
** During this stage, Mi India will remove all invalid entries or entries which do not comply with contest rules.
** Voting timelines: June 24th to 26th on Mi Community.
** During this period, Mi Community members will listen to the selected entries and vote.
** To increase your chances of winning, feel free to share your composition on social media and other channels and get upvotes from your friends and family members.
** To keep it fair for all contestants at this stage, voters will not be able to see who’s leading or who’s falling behind. The no. of votes will remain undisclosed till winner announcement.
** Winners will be announced on June 28th via Mi Community and Mi Social pages, Facebook and Twitter.

Prizes :
** The winning entry with maximum no. of upvotes wins a Redmi Note 4 (4+64) and Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini.
** 9 other contestants with votes in decreasing order will win a Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini each.

** Every 100th valid entry in compliance with contest rules will win a F-Code for Redmi 4 (3+32) each. This means that Entry no. 100, 200, 300 and so on (if is a valid entry) gets to win the F-Code each.

** To redeem F-Codes, simply head to PC buy.mi.com/in/fcode
** Mobile: m.buy.mi.com/in/fcode, enter the F-Code received along with the CAPTCHA seen on the screen and proceed to payment page.

** Every 1000th valid entry in compliance with contest rules will win a Mi In-Ear Headphones Basic Matte each. This means that Entry no. 1000, 2000, 3000 and so on (if is a valid entry) gets to win Mi In-Ear Headphones Basic Matte each.
