Vividha Competitions :
1. The competition is open to all graduate and postgraduate students.
2. It is mandatory for each participant to carry the respective college ID with him/her.

3. All the respective entries should reach us latest by 22nd July 2017.
4. The date of the event is 30th July 2017. Participants must report at the venue latest by 8:00am on the day of the event.
5. Each participant is allowed to participate in maximum of ‘TWO’ competitions only.
6. The registration fee is ? 200 per participant.
7. Participants will be disqualified in case of misbehavior of any sort or use of any offensive material.
8. The decision of the judges will be binding and final.
Please Note :
1. The participants should register themselves for the competition on Christ college website christcollegerajkot.edu.in
2. The registration fee is to be paid through Demand Draft in favor of “Christ College, Rajkot” payable at Rajkot.
3. The participating colleges will receive a confirmatory email within 24 hours of the registration.
4. Travel arrangements are to be made by the respective colleges on their own.
5. Accommodation can be made available by Christ College, Rajkot, but the expenses are to be borne by the participants only. For booking and inquiry of accommodation, please contact student coordinator Kudratgiri Goswami (8141731265) at Christ College, Rajkot at least 10 days prior to the event.
6. A notice board will be put up at the college entrance, directing participants to their respective venues of each competition.
7. Every college can send a maximum of three teams for the event. Each of these teams will be judged independently.
8. Each competition will be judged independently. There will also be an award for the Best College for the team that performs the best throughout all the competitions.
9. It is not mandatory for the teams to participate in all competitions. However, only those teams that participate in ALL competitions shall be eligible for the “Best College” award.
10. If a college has more than one participating team, the team will be judged individually and not collectively. For e.g. College XYZ has sent in 3 teams – Team A, Team B and Team C. Team A and B participated in all 6 competitions and Team C has participated only in 4 competitions.
In that case, team C is not eligible for the Best College award. Though, Team A and Team B are independently eligible for the award but their points cannot be combined.
11. Christ College will not be responsible for any loss/damage of any article or property brought by the participants. Participants themselves will be solely responsible.
12. Trophies and certificates will be distributed during the valedictory ceremony only, not before that in any case.
Twist In The Tale :
1. All teams can send one participant.
2. Each participant will be speaking FOR as well as AGAINST the motion.
3. The participants will be given the topic on the spot.
4. The participant will choose his/her stand as soon as the signal is given (thumbs up for speaking in support of the motion/ thumbs down for speaking against the motion)
5. Medium of expression can be either Hindi or English.
6. Each participant will be allowed to speak for maximum of 3 minutes.
7. Each participant will get 3 minutes to prepare.
8. The participants will not be allowed to jot down anything prior to presentation.
9. Judges’ decision will be considered final and binding.
Brand If You Can :
A team will consist of minimum 4 and maximum of 6 students.
The competition will be conducted in two rounds. The team will have to present both the rounds one after the other.
Round one: Ad analysis
Round two: Enactment
Round one: Ad analysis
1. The team has to select from the advertisements which will be uploaded on the college website on 24th July 2017
2. The team will be given 5 minutes of time to present the analysis of the selected advertisement through a power point presentation.
Round two: Enactment and Print ad
1. The team will have to reframe the advertisement based on the conclusions drawn in its analysis and present it in the form of an enactment.
2. The enactment cannot exceed more than a minute.
3. The enactment must be accompanied with a printed version (a poster) of the same product which also includes the points made in the analysis.
4. This would be followed by a Q&A session with the judges.
