Vigilance Awareness Week 2015 Essay Competition:

Entries for the essay competition are invited from the general public in Kerala State in connection with the observance of Vigilance Awareness week 2015.

Competition Last Date : 12.10.2015

Topic: “Corruption and its ill effects”
1. Language of the essay: In Malayalam, Hindi and English (only one entry per person will be entertained.)

2. Length: Not more than 1500 words.

3. Entries can be sent through email or by post. Should be neatly type – written. If through email it should be in PDF format.

4. Last Date of receipt of entries: 12.10.2015, 5.00 P.M.

6. The participant should furnish his name, postal address, email address, cell phone no./land line no. one pass port size photo along with the essay.

7. If send by post the cover should be super scribed as “Vigilance Awareness Week 2015 –Essay Competition”

8. Age: 14 years and above. Age proof: copy of PAN card, Driving license, pass port, or any other valid proof acceptable to the bank. If student, a certificate from the Head of the institution to this effect/ copy of the school ID card.

9. Results: Results will be announced on October 26, 2015 and will be displayed in the Head Office notice board at Thiruvananthapuram and in the Bank’s website, “www.statebankoftravancore.com”. The prize winners will be notified in person also.

The winners can collect the prize from the Head Office, Thiruvananthapuram in a function proposed to be held on 31.10.2015 or can collect from the branch of SBT nearest to his residence within 30 days from the date of announcement of the results.

10. Prize:
The winning essays will get the following prizes:
First :
Malayalam Rs.10,000.00
Hindi Rs.10,000.00
English Rs.10,000.00

Second:
Malayalam Rs. 5,000.00
Hindi Rs. 5,000.00
English Rs. 5,000.00

Third :
Malayalam Rs. 2,500.00
Hindi Rs. 2,500.00
English Rs. 2,500.00

11. The competition is only for the people residing in Kerala State and entries from other States of India will not be entertained.

12. Employees of State Bank of Travancore and their dependent family members are not eligible to participate in the competition.

13. The participants should furnish a signed undertaking – “the content of the essay is his own and has not been copied from anywhere”.

14. The bank has the right to use, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store the winning entries in any form.

15. All taxes are to be borne by the winners.

16. The decision of the bank is final regarding rules, conduct, results and any other matters relating to competition and no correspondence or discussion shall be entertained, in any form.
