Painting/ Graffiti Competition For Most Innovative Idea To Make Surat City A Smart City 2015:

Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India has selected Surat to submit Smart City Proposal and participate in the 100 Smart Cities Challenge Competition. Upon short listing, Surat can claim to work towards becoming one of India’s cities under the smart city initiative. In this regard, we invite College/ School Students for this Painting/Graffiti competition. You are requested to make painting on “Mara Swapna Nu Surat”. Surat the graffiti/ painting should be in A3 size (297 X 420 mm or 11.7 X 16.5 Inch.) in either of the sub topics illustrating a smart solution you think is usable in your Smart City Surator you can submit on any other similar sub-topic of your choice.

The Competition is open for students Categories (Between 10 to 17 years of age)

Prizes:

a) 1st Prize (One) – Cash Incentive of Rs. 5000 /- (Five Thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize (One) – Cash Incentive of Rs.3000 /- (Three Thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize (One) – Cash Incentive of Rs. 2000 /- (Two Thousand only)
d) 1st Consolation Prize (One) – Cash Incentive of Rs. 1000 /- (One Thousand only)
e) 2nd Consolation Prize (One) – Cash Incentive of Rs. 1000 /- (One Thousand only)

The Inputs received from these graffiti/ paintings can be used to develop the city’s vision, Sub Goals and the list of Citizen driven solution.

The Essay is to be submitted by attaching PDF file online only at www.mygov.in/task.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The winner shall be chosen on the basis of originality of ideas, Innovativeness and Creativity
2. Entry is limited to one per person. Only individual entries will be accepted. Team entries will not be accepted.
3. The decision of SMC (Surat Municipal Corporation) for selecting the winner shall be treated as final.
4. SMC reserve the right to present no prizes or commendations or to reduce the number of prizes and commendations if an insufficient number of deserving essays is received.
