Quality Circle Competition :

I am pleased to inform you that Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region is organising Preliminary Contests for the 30th Quality Circle Competition for the year 2017-2018.

Each year the competition is being organized at Haridwar and Rudrapur. There will be 2 separate QC Preliminary Contests at Haridwar and Rudrapur.

The competition would include presentations by Quality Circle teams of CII member / Select Non Member companies only. The top three teams from each of the Preliminary Contests would compete at the Regional Final.

There will be 5 consolation prizes as well based on the merit.

Benefits :
Quality Circles play a very important role in involving a wide cross section of employees in an organisation for improving quality within an organisation through participation.

Chief Executives would benefit from this opportunity by getting an insight into some outstanding examples of Quality Circles and also the various aspects and role of Quality Circle activities. Senior Managers would understand how to promote and encourage Quality Circle movement within their organisation.

They would get an opportunity to explore ideas and views with the facilitators and trainers of the participating circles as well as other delegates.

Workmen at the shop-floor level would benefit from the exposure to the concept of Quality Circle activity as practiced in other units. This would provide a unique opportunity to motivate workers to exchange ideas, views and share experiences on Quality Circles and various approaches to problem solving.

Participation Fee :
For Quality Circles :
Rs 15,000/- per Circle + Applicable Service Tax (Per Circle per location)

For Delegates :
Rs 2,500/- per participant + Applicable Service Tax (Per Circle per location)

We invite Members/Select Non-members to sponsor Quality Circle team(s) as also depute delegates to participate in the forthcoming Preliminary Contests. Guidelines and other participation details are enclosed.
