4th Kolhapur International Film Festival 2015 Short Film Competition :
The Fourth Kolhapur International Film Festival 2015 to be held on 18th Dec. 2015 to 25th Dec. 2015 will be organised by Kalamaharshi Baburao Painter Film Society, District administration of Kolhapur, Rajarshu Shahu Chhatrapati Memorial Trust and Akhil Bhartiy Chitrapat Mahamandal. An open short film competition is announced on this occasion.

Competition Rules & Regulations Are As Follows:
1. The competition is open to all, any person or an organization can participate in the competition.

2. The competition will be for two categories:
i) Fiction ii) Non Fiction

3. Participants are requested to fill up an online form at kalamaharshi.org

4. Short films produced after October 2014 will be accepted.

5. Short films for this competition will be selected from submitted entries.

6. The first three winners in each category will be awarded by Rs. 15,000/-, Rs. 10,000/- & Rs. 5,000/- respectively along with a trophy.

7. Time duration for the film should be 3 to 30 minutes.

8. Film can be made in any language. English subtitles are mandatory.

9. Films must be submitted before submission date. No inquiries will be entertained then onwards.

10. Result declared by selection committee & jury panel for competition will be final & binding on the participants.

11. Hospitality and Railway (2 class) / Bus fair will be provided, only to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize winning Directors from each category. We will not provide any air fare.

12. Form A must be submitted on or before 15 Oct 2015 to register your entry in the competition.

Form B must be submitted till 31 Oct2015 along with following material :
a. Properly filled Form B
b. Passport size photo of the Director -1
c. profile of the director
d. Synopsys in 10 sentences
e. Still – 01 no.
f. crew
g. DVD of the film

13. Students from film institute should attach a certificate from principal.

Selection Committee:
For both the categories selection committee will shortlist the films which will be selected for screening.

Final Selection:
Three films will be selected (from each category) for First, Second & Third prizes. Final result will be declared by selection Committee & Jury panel.
