Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5 :

Viacom18 Media Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer(s)”/ “Viacom18”) has acquired the license to produce and broadcast in India the television series provisionally entitled “Big Brother/ Bigg Boss-Season 5” (“Programme” or “Program”/ “Show”) based on the format based show viz. “Big Brother” owned by Endemol Shine Group B.V. (the “Format”).

This Program shall be produced by the third party production house (‘Producer’) for and on behalf of Viacom18 primarily for the purpose of telecast on Viacom18’s channel namely “COLORS Kannada”, “Colors Super” or such other channel or platform as Viacom18 may deem fit (“Channel”).

The Program involves filming the daily interaction within a group of people i.e., the participants as chosen and finalized by Viacom18 for the Program during the period as decided by Viacom18 (as per its sole discretion) living in a house situated in restricted surroundings in an area isolated and completely cut off from the outside world and specially constructed for the Program (“the House”), which group of people shall be as self-sufficient as possible with no or minimal privacy from the outside world and being on camera 24 hours a day during the period of their stay in the House and the appearance/participation being broadcast, which includes live relay, by all means including television.

The Terms and Conditions of and in relation to the Auditions as stated herein, is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000 (“Act”) and rules thereunder as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008.

This is a legal and binding agreement between the Applicant /Participant (as defined hereinafter) and Viacom18 that states the terms that govern the Participant’s participation in the Auditions through the Voot App / Voot Website (as stated hereinbelow) and/or any other platform as communicated hereunder.

By clicking on the ‘I agree’ icon, the Applicant / Participant hereby unconditionally consents, agrees and undertakes to abide, be bound by and adhere to the Terms and Conditions herein.

These terms and conditions, contained herein shall subsist until the first telecast of the last episode of the Program and /or any such extended duration as may be deemed fit by Viacom18 and hence, the rules shall continue to apply on the Applicants/Participants.

Viacom18 is conducting the Auditions for selection of participants for participation in the Program and is open for all Indian citizens residing in India and who are 18 years and above and who meet the eligibility criteria as enumerated herein (“Applicant” or “Participant”).

Upon submitting the Audition video on the Voot App / Voot Website in accordance with the requirements and criteria as laid down for the Auditions herein, the Applicant / Participant hereby agrees to have read and understood all the terms and conditions for participation in the Auditions and agree to abide by the same.

The Participants can register by downloading the Voot application as owned by Viacom18 (‘Voot App’) onto their mobile devices or clicking on the link voot.com.

Upon clicking the aforesaid link, a registration form shall be displayed requiring the Participant to fill in all the relevant and necessary details as stated and enumerated herein below and upon submitting Audition Video (as mentioned hereinafter) and recent photograph on Voot App/ Voot Website (as may be required) in accordance with the requirements and criteria as laid down for the Auditions herein, the Participant agrees to have read and understood all the terms and conditions for participation in the Auditions and hereby agrees to abide by the same.

Audition Period shall commence from July 3rd 2017 at 21:00 hours “Opening hours” and shall continue until such period as determined at the discretion of Viacom18.

The Audition Period may be extended and/or modified at the sole discretion of Viacom18 and the same shall be updated on the Voot App and/or Voot Website and/or Facebook “Colors Super/Colors Kannada” at the discretion of Viacom18 and the Participants shall be responsible to keep themselves updated by checking the Terms and Conditions / any amended terms and conditions with respect to any change /modification made in the terms thereof and any and all such modifications shall apply to all the Participants.

Eligibility criteria to participate:
Any individual person meeting the following criteria as stated below can participate in the Auditions:
An individual person aged 18 (eighteen) years or above as on July 3rd 2017 and;
who is an Indian national(s) residing in India.

Each Participant shall have in his/her possession any or all of the valid and subsisting legal documents as mentioned below to prove his/her age and shall also provide necessary documents (as listed below) as proof of Name/address/nationality/citizenship:
** Driving license;
** Permanent Account Number (‘PAN’);
** Aadhar Card;
** Voters identity card;
** School leaving certificate;
** Birth certificate;
** Ration card;
** Passport;
** Mobile bill;
Any other document as may be required by the Organizer from time to time.

The Participants agree that they will be required to submit all valid proofs of name/ age/ address/ nationality/citizenship and/or any other document as may be required by the Organizer from time to time.

Participation Mechanism for Auditions: In order to participate in the Auditions, the Participant will be required to download the Voot App, follow the registration process as displayed therein and submit the Audition Video in the manner as prescribed hereinafter.

Registration Process shall include the following steps:
The Participant shall be required to click on the link as displayed on the Voot App and complete the registration process by entering all the details/fields that are marked as “mandatory fields” including, inter alia, i) Name, ii) Age, iii) Address, iv) Nationality, v) email id, vi) online social media accounts, vii) Contact number mobile; viii) Contact number landline, etc. and after filling in all the required details the Participant shall upload / submit the Audition Video.

The Participant shall also have an option of registering through the Voot website “voot.com “ (‘Voot Website’) by filling in all the required details as stated hereinabove and uploading the Audition Video.

By submitting the information on the Voot App / Voot Website / Website, through documents and /or otherwise, the Participant hereby waives all privacy rights and/or any other rights including but not limited to proprietary rights, copyrights, etc. and/or any privacy expectations that the Participant may have with respect to the use of the information furnished by the Participant in any manner.

Viacom18 / Producer may use the information for sending out commercial information and/or for other commercial, publicity or promotional purposes and the Participant shall not raise any objection against the same.

Requirements of the Audition video:
** The Audition Video should be an introduction about the Participant viz: (i) where you’re from; (ii) your personality, your experiences, or how it may help you do well on the Program and any other information like your job, talk about your job and how those skills may help you win the Program, etc.

Duration of the Audition video: The Participant shall ensure that the maximum duration of the video shall be 3 minutes. Any video more than 3 (three) minutes will be rejected.
** Size of the Audition Video:
The Audition video needs to be maximum 50 MB in size.

** Number of times the Audition video can be uploaded:The Participant may upload his/her Audition video on the Voot App and/or the Voot Website multiple number of times before the Closing hours of the Audition Period. Viacom18 at its discretion shall select the Audition video as the Participant’s final / last entry for the purpose of Auditions.
