Design Project Competition :

Background About Cartist Design Project 2017 – It is a design competition for Indian students pursuing a full-time course in design and is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The contest aims to encourage young budding designers to empower change through design.

Working with Final Design: 20 August-20 September 2017
All submissions must be sent in electronic format at cartistyatra@gmail.com .No hard copy submissions are accepted. Please remove your design name from the images. There is no limit to the number of eligible projects a college may submit; however, each project may only be submitted once.

Terms & Conditions :
** Cartist will have the ownership of all the submitted entries including the idea. The student shall retain no right, ownership or title in the submitted entries including the idea.
** Cartist will have the full discretion to select the best of the entries based on the criterion set by Cartist.
** Entry is free for all students with no registration fee.
** The competition closes at 23:59 pm (IST) on Wednesday 15 August 2017 and the entries received after this date and time will not be considered.
** The awards will be couriered to the college address of the winners.
** Group submission is allowed.
** The work submitted should be innovative, original and solely developed by the student. The Students are expected to provide new perspectives and creative designs.
** A student can submit multiple entries. Each entry will be reviewed independently by the judges.
** The student should keep the design(s) confidential until it will come in public domain or published to the public.
** Cartist reserves the right to determine the acceptability of ideas submitted.

By submitting an entry, students represent and warrant that the entry submitted by them is their original creation. Students further represent and warrant that the idea shall not violate any third party’s copyright, patent, or other intellectual property rights, proprietary or confidential information.

The student shall defend and indemnify Cartist from and against any and/or all claims, losses, damages etc. Arising from any form including those in connection with or relating to third party claims of intellectual property infringement against Cartist based on any submitted entries.

In no event shall Cartist be liable to the winners, participants and/or students for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages regardless of whether it knew or should have known of the possibility of such damages.

Students including winners shall have no claim against Cartist for any compensation or loss of whatever nature by virtue of the cancellation/rejections/submission of their entries and they also waive all the rights, which may be statutorily available to students including winners.
Selected applicants will be notified by email on 20 August 2017

The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
