Tasveer, in association with Toto Funds the Arts (TFA) invites entries for its 10th annual Toto-Tasveer Award for Photography from young photographers between the ages of 18 and 29

The Toto-Tasveer Award for Photography is one of the most important photography awards in India today that recognises young talent.

The award presents an opportunity to be associated with two renowned organisations that are committed to showcasing the finest of photography, and has been a significant stepping stone for previous nominees.

Two winners will be selected by a group of eminent judges and panelists to receive a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 each.

Submission Guidelines:
** All applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 29. You may apply if you were born on or after 1 January 1988.
** The submission should comprise a maximum of 16 still images in either colour or black and white, or a mix of the two. Video photography will not be accepted.
** The images should be of a size between a minimum of .5 and a maximum of 1 MB each.
** The photographs should be on one or two themes. Your choice. Please do not send a random assortment.

All submissions should be sent by email to photography.tfa@gmail.com, with the subject line reading ‘Entry for Photography Awards 2018’. The submission must be accompanied by an application form.

The decision of the jury will be final and cannot be contested in any forum. We reserve the right to use your submitted photographs (if necessary) to promote the Toto-Tasveer Awards either on the Tasveer or TFA website or in any of our in-house/related materials.

Barring this, the copyright rests with the applicants and the submissions will be put to no other use without their express permission.

All winning applicants need to ensure that their winning photographs carry due credit/mention of the Toto-Tasveer Award wherever they are exhibited or published for a period of two years post the TFA 2018 Awards Ceremony.
