Terms and Conditions :
These terms and conditions are applicable for the Fair & Lovely Everest Contest (“Contest”), being conducted by Hindustan Unilever Limited (“HUL”) through the Fair & Lovely Foundation.

These Terms and Conditions shall be binding on each and every participant (“Participant” or “You”) who voluntarily agree to participate in the Contest which will be hosted by HUL on secure.fairandlovely.in/Everestcontest/EVWelcome.aspx (“Website”).

Any information gathered through this Terms and Conditions shall be subject to our Privacy Policy which is available at fairandlovely.in/falfoundation/policy.htmland is incorporated herein by reference. Your act of participating in the Contest shall be deemed to be your absolute agreement to the Terms and Conditions, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and User Generated Content of HUL as prescribed from time to time (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Terms and Conditions).

If you do not agree to be bound or cannot comply with any of the Terms and Conditions s, please do not continue. Your failure to accept these General or Principal Rules or the Privacy Policy or Terms of Use or User Generated Content will disqualify your participation in the Contest. The Contest shall be governed by the Terms and Conditions and all the Participants in the Contest shall unconditionally accept and agree to comply with and abide by the same.

The Privacy Policy available at the fairandlovely.in/falfoundation/policy.html shall govern all usage of any Personal Information (as defined below) and/or any other information as detailed in the Privacy Policy and including but not limited to the mobile phone number and/or any information in relation to Your participation in the Contest gathered under or pursuant to this Contest by HUL if any).

The Contest will commence on 2nd March, at 00:00 hr. Indian Standard Time (IST) and will end10th March at 24:00 hours Indian Standard Time (IST) (“Period”). HUL reserves all rights to make amendments to the Period and/or Terms and Conditions and/or such other terms and conditions stated herein, without giving prior notice. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant (s) to check the Terms and Conditions for the Contest on the Website from time to time. HUL also reserves the right to cancel and/or postpone the Contest without any prior intimation to the Participant (s).

The Contest shall strictly comprise of 1 (one) subjective and qualitative open ended question, i.e. “Why should you be awarded this chance to be a part of this epic Everest Base Camp Trek team?”(“Subjective Question”) and 10 (ten) multi choice question /trivia based on Mount Everest (“Objective Questions”) triggered on the Website The Subjective and Objective Question shall hereinafter be collectively referred to as “Questions”

To participate in the Contest, all persons interested in participating and /or Participants shall be mandatorily required to do the following during the Period:

Log in to the Website using his/her credentials or in any other manner or form as may be prescribed /requested on the Website and provide his /her personal information as may be requested on the Website .and click on the relevant page/tab of the Contest on the Website or in any other manner or form as may be prescribed /requested on the Website. For the purpose of participating in this Contest, it is mandatory that the interested Participant (s) should be females, Indian citizens, and all above the age of 18 years during the Period of the Contest.

submit their full name, email id, the name of their city where they reside, contact number(s), etc. as requested on the Website in a manner and form, as may be requested and /or prescribed on the Website (“Personal Information”).

Participant (s) shall thereafter be required to answer the Subjective Question and submit an original, subjective and quantitative answer in her own words not exceeding 200 (two hundred) word characters(“First Answer”)

Upon answering and submitting the FirstAnswer, the Participant shall be required to correctly answer the 10 Objective Questions during the Period (“Second Answer”). For the purposes of this Contest, First Answer and Second Answer shall be collectively referred to as “Answer”.

For purposes of the Contest, “receipt” of Content (s) occurs only when the website server records the Content information upon the entrant clicking “Submit/Post” button. For sake of clarity, any automated receipt confirmation shall not constitute proof of actual receipt.

Logging onto the Website, providing the First Answer in the manner as stated aboveand providing the correct Second Answer(s) for all 10 (Ten) Objective Questions of the Contest by the Participant(s) and furnishing the Personal Information on the Website shall be considered as a complete and valid entry (“Entry”).

For the avoidance of doubt, if the Participant(s) provides one incorrect Second Answer and /or if her First Answer is not original and is adapted orcopied then her Entry shall be considered incomplete and the Participant(s) shall not be eligible for the Prize. It is further clarified that any Entry comprising of such unoriginal and /or adapted First Answers shall be considered null and void and shall not be eligible for the Prize.

The Participant (s) agrees and acknowledges that by submitting the Entry and /or Answer(s) the Participant(s) is representing that the Entry(s) and /or Answer(s) or contents thereof are not confidential or comprise any sensitive personal information.
