Great Minds Creativity Olympiad :

GMCREyA – is a unique and innovative contest to test and develop the Creativity of the student’s skills in Painting, Writing & Speaking. The Uniqueness of the program is, the Contest can be organized in the school itself or it can be provided as “Home Work” to the students

Eligibility :
Students from Class U.K.G to IX are eligible to participate in the program. The participation is through Institution Only.

Rules & Regulations :
Creative Painting:
Format: Painting to be done in A4 or A3 size paper
Style: Free style and you can use crayons, color pencils or watercolors, etc.

Creative Writing:
Format: Essay should be in English language and handwritten. Use A4 size paper, single-spaced and maximum of two pages. Substantiate your writing with specific reasons, examples and details to develop your essay.

Creative Speaking:
Duration of Speech: The duration of speech should be 3 minutes to 6 minutes.

Format: Speech should be in English language & in Video format. The video recordings can be in MP4 / AVI / FLV file and to be forwarded in CD / DVD. Single CD / DVD can be used for multiple students’ presentation by naming a separate folder for each student. Introduction of the student is must. Clearly mention name, class, school and the presentation of the topic.

Contact Details (In English Only): Clearly mention your Name / Class / School Name, Address, Telephone & email on the TOP cover sheet for Essay, on BACK side of the Painting Sheet & on the Top of CD/DVDs.

Participation Fees :
Schools in India:
The contest fees is Rs. 100/- per contest / student. (Rupees One hundred only) Schools from Abroad: The contest fees is Rs.200/- per contest / student. (Rupees Two Hundred only) Entry fees can be remit through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Great Minds Competency Council” payable at Chennai (or) make / transfer payment through Net Banking to Karnataka Bank Ltd, Account No: 1582000100044901, IFSC Code KARB0000158, Mogappair Branch, Chennai – 600 037.

Prizes:
GMCREyA Prize:
Three (3) best entries in each Class / category among the schools will be chosen and awarded with a Cash prize (or) gifts worth Rs. 500/- each along with a Medal & Certificate.

Next, Best 10 entries in each class / category will be awarded with a Medal & Certificate. “Certificate of Participation” to all the Participants. The results will be declared from 4 to 6 weeks from the closure date of the contest.

Terms and Conditions:
By entering the Contest, you have assigned copyright of your contest articles to the Great Minds Competency Council and the articles will not be returned. The juries are appointed by Great Minds Competency Council and the decision of juries would be final and binding on all participants.

We take no responsibility and assume no liability in case any participant is not selected and/or awarded the prizes, and mere participation will not entitle anyone to win prizes. Winner would be declared through fair competition and selection for part icipation is done only if the participants abide by the terms and conditions mentioned herein.

If the contest is not conducted / results are not declared due to any natural disaster like earth quake, extreme weather conditions, lost or damage in transit or any other unforeseen circumstances or by act of God, our liability is limited to the extent of the contest fee paid.

The fees paid is neither refundable nor transferable. In case of any dispute, all matters are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai only.
