Edelweiss Crime Cell Contest :

The Edel Crime Cell is a fictitious cyber crime organization which is looking for wanted criminals on the run – the bugs. In the contest, you need to find these bugs (errors) across our platforms www.edelweiss.in (website) and Edelweiss Mobile Trader (Mobile trading app) and report them to us.

These bugs can be related to site flow, design, broken links, data accuracy, spelling mistakes etc. The contestant, who reports the highest number of valid bugs, will be rewarded!

Contest period: 21st August 2017 to 15th September 2017

How can I participate? :
Everyone in Edelweiss GWM SBU is open to participate, be it permanent employees, contractual or interns.
Participation needs to be done on individual basis and participating as a group is not allowed.

Steps to participate are as below :
** Examine our platforms thoroughly (edelweiss.in and Edelweiss Mobile Trader)
** Note the bugs (errors) and send it to us in an excel sheet in this format.
** Send it to us at contest@edelweiss.in

What are the rules, regulations and things I need to know? :
** All Edelweiss employees from GWM lob (Permanent/contractual/intern) are eligible to take part.
** The bugs which are considered irrelevant would be ruled out and not be scored.
** If the core committee is not able to identify/reproduce the bugs, it would not be counted and rated.
** Thus, please make sure your description is adequate and try to attach screenshots/links wherever possible to make it easier to understand
** Please do not add suggestions for enhancement to the platform.
** Though appreciated, we would not be able to accommodate any such changes right now.
** Only issues with the existing platform would be considered as bugs.
** One contestant is not eligible for more than one weekly prize.
** If you become a weekly winner once, you would not be eligible for the same in the following weeks.
** Though, all the weekly winners are eligible for the overall prizes as are the rest of the contestants.
** The bug scoring would be done by the Bug Shortlisting Committee.
** All the relevant bugs would be given 1 point.
** The rest would be ignored.
** The Bug Shortlisting committee will have the final say on validity of the bugs
** Plagiarism of any kind would result in immediate disqualification
** The mail should be sent from your official Email ID.
** Entries from external ID’s won’t be considered
** The name of the attached file should have your employee code and name
** The contest begins on 21st August’17 and ends on 15th September, 2017
** For the weekly contest, the Last Date of submission to be eligible for the weekly prizes would be 11:59:59 PM on each Friday i.e. 25th August, 1st September, 8th September and 15th September.
** The weekly winners for each week would be announced in the following week.
** All entries have to be mailed on or before 11:59:59 PM on 15th September’17 to be eligible for the overall prize
** The results will be announced by 29th September’17
** A contestant cannot submit more than 4 files during the entire contest
** We, the organizers, if deem fit can revoke the contest at any moment in time and may not be liable to reward any participant if the contest is revoked regardless of the week it is revoked in
** If a contestant incurs any cost while doing the testing, it will not be reimbursed by the organizers.
** One may chose to incur those costs at their own will and from their own pocket.
