Essay Writing Competition For Smart City Sagar 2015:
All Citizens are invited to participate in Essay Writing Competition for Smart City Sagar. The objective of the essay competition is to understand dreams and aspiration of the citizens for their city.

The essay should focus on:
** The vision and goals for the City
** Your idea of ideal Smart City and facilities that should be provided to all the citizens
** Major issues and challenges in the city
** Solutions that can be adopted to address these issues
** Highlight top priority areas that need immediate attention
** Areas to be developed in the City

Your essay topic will be of Word Limit: 1000

Topic:
“Smart City Sagar”(In English)
“स्मार्ट सिटी सागर” (In Hindi)

The competition is open for Two Categories:
1) Students (Must be between 10 to 17 years of age as on 31.10.15)
2) Open Category (Must be above 18 years of age as on 31.10.15)

The Top 3 Essays will be awarded with:
1. For Students – Certificate along with Cash Incentive:
a) 1st Prize – Rs. 5000 /- (Five Thousand only).
b) 2nd Prize – Rs. 3000 /- (Three Thousand only).
c) 3rd Prize – Rs. 2000 /- (Two Thousand only).

2. For Open Category – Certificate along with Cash Incentive:
a) 1st Prize – Rs. 25000 /- (Twenty five Thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize – Rs.20000 /- (Twenty Thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize – Rs. 15000 /- (Fifteen Thousand only)

The Competition will close on 31st October, 2015.

Terms and Conditions:
1. The winner shall be chosen on the basis of Innovative and Implementable ideas.
2. The Name of the participant, Address and Contact No. must be mentioned clearly on the top of the Essay.
3. The decision of SMC (Sagar Municipal Corporation) for selecting the winner shall be treated as Final.
