12th HERO MTB Himalaya 2016 :
The 12th edition of the Hero MTB Himalaya will be held from 25 September to 03 October 2016 in Himachal Pradesh, India. The race has seen some world renowned riders like Luis Leao Pinto, Cory Wallace,Pau Zamora,Andreas Seewald, Catherine Williamson, Reimund Dietzen,Ilda Pereira and Sonia Lopes among others competing at the race.

Considered to be one of the toughest races in the world, Hero MTB Himalaya is not for the faint hearted. A race that takes the riders through the untouched parts of the Himalayas, bustling towns and villages, across streams – all set amidst the beauty of the mighty Himalayas. With a total elevation gain of almost 50,000 feet in the previous edition, even the most experienced riders found the altitude challenging.

THE 12TH EDITION :
A pure adventure race set amidst the Deodar forests demand pure concentration, power of will and a strong spirit to ride through one of the toughest terrains you have ever experienced. It is not just the technical tracks, but also the altitude you have to reckon with. A distance of approximately 650 kms is covered in 7 riding days. The camp is set at a new base each day – sometimes in meadows at the base of mountains in Kullu Sarahan or the fields at Khegsu. The experience is made complete with the school programs that are conducted at camps and in other schools along the route.

An experience and a race that can’t be missed, you will be a part of one of the toughest races in the world. We don’t say that. The riders do.

A race that is bound to test your will power and strength of character, apart from your riding skills will leave an indelible mark in your mind and an unforgettable experience in your memories.

Registration Details :
The early bird discount on registrations for the 12th editions is now available. Register and complete the payment process before November 15 to avail a discount of 25% on the registration fee.

Registrations can be done online. Registrations re confirmed only on full payment of the applicable race fee. User can calculate the total payable fee by navigating tot the fee structure page and make the payment online.

** The minimum age of participation in any category is 18 years.
** Entries closes on 10th September 2016 ( 15th September with late fee).
** For each category to be competitive a minimum of 5 contestants/ teams are mandatory.

** Your registration is only considered a binding document once your registration forms have been received along with the full fees.

Irrespective of which category the rider is entering the fees are given below. The USD conversion remains at an average 62 INR.

Discounts :
** There is a 20% discount for students and bonafide Himachal Pradesh residents.
** Please note that supporters for riders will also follow the same fee structure.
** The organizers reserve the right to award waiver of any kind on the registration fees to anyone.
** Only Individual Solo riders and Teams of two (2) participants qualify for participation.
** This pricing is applicable for all the registration & confirmation on or before 5 PM IST ,10th September,2016 .
** 10% discount to past MTB Himalaya riders.
