Amazon Pay Quiz Contest :

The Quiz Time (“Contest”) is brought to you by Amazon Payments (India) Private Limited (“APIPL”) and made available to you by Amazon Seller Services Private Limited (“ASSPL”/ “Amazon”) on the mobile application of amazon.in (“Amazon.in App”).

Please read these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) before entering the Contest. This Contest is applicable only on the Amazon.in App and not on the website or mobile website of Amazon.

You agree that, by participating in this Contest, you will be bound by these T&Cs and you acknowledge that you satisfy all Contest eligibility requirements as provided herein below.

These T&Cs are in addition to the Amazon.in Conditions of Use and Privacy Notice to which you agree by using the Amazon.in App and the terms and conditions applicable for the Amazon.in Gift Cards (“Gift Card Terms”) issued by QwikCilver Solutions Private Limited (“QwikCilver”) and “) and ‘Your Money’ issued by APIPL (subject to the Amazon Pay balance Terms & Conditions).

To the extent the Amazon.in Conditions of Use and Privacy Notice are inconsistent with these T&Cs, these T&Cs will prevail with respect to the Contest only. To the extent the Gift Card Terms and Amazon Pay balance Terms & Conditions are inconsistent with these T&Cs, these T&Cs shall prevail with respect to the Contest only.

For the purposes of these T&Cs, wherever the context so requires “You” or “Your” shall mean any natural person who is a participant in the Contest and “We” or “Our” shall mean Amazon. This contest is not available on phones with Android Version 4.4 and below.

ELIGIBILITY:
You need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to enter the Contest:
(a) You should be an individual legal resident of the Republic of India;
(b) You should have set India as your current country in your account settings on Amazon.in;
(c) You have a billing address within the territory of India; and
(d) You should be of an age 18 years or above at the time of entry into the Contest.
Our employees, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors, advertising/Contest agencies are not eligible to enter the Contest.

DETAILS OF THE CONTEST AND HOW TO ENTER:
(1) This Contest will commence on 27th October from 12:00:01 a.m. (IST) to 31st October 23:59:59 p.m. (IST) (“Contest Period”).
(2) In order to be eligible for the Contest, during the Contest Period you must sign-in to or sign-up from an Amazon.in account on the Amazon.in App.
(3) Once you have signed-in to the Amazon.in App, you can participate by navigating to the page where 5 (five) quiz questions will be posted during the entire Contest Period (“Contest Questions”).
(4) Thereafter, if you answer all the Contest Questions correctly, you will be entitled to participate in a random draw of lots which will be carried out amongst participants who have answered all questions correctly.
(5) The declared winner(s) will each be eligible for winning Amazon Pay balance worth Rs.3000/- (“Gift Card”) issued by QwikCilver (hereinafter referred to as “Prize(s)”), which amount will reflect in the winner’s Amazon.in account as Amazon Pay Balance.
(6) Each participant will be eligible to receive only one Prize under this Contest.

MAILING LIST:
By entering the Contest, you consent to being placed on a mailing list for promotional and other materials for Amazon. You may update or change your email preferences at the email preferences page.

OTHER CONTESTS:
Please note that we may be running similar contests or promotions at the same time as this Contest. By entering this Contest, you will not be eligible to receive any benefit and/ or prize awarded in any other promotion/ contest unless you enter each promotion/ contest separately.

PRIZES:
There are a total of 100 (Hundred) Prize(s) that will be given under this Contest. The Prize will be delivered to the winner on or before 30th November, 2017. A participant will be eligible to win only if he/she has participated in the Contest in the manner provided under the ‘Details of the Contest and How to Enter’ section above.

“Amazon Pay Balance” is a sum of all the balances associated with Amazon.in Gift Cards (“Gift Cards”) and ‘Your Money’ in your Amazon.in account. Amazon.in Gift Cards are issued Qwikcilver Solutions Private Limited (“Qwikcilver”) and are subject to the Amazon.in Gift Card Terms and Conditions (“Gift Card Terms”).

‘Your Money’ balance is issued by APIPL and is subject to the Amazon Pay balance Terms & Conditions. The Amazon Pay balance will expire after 1 (one) year from the date of issuance. Amazon Pay balance cannot be used to purchase other gift cards or balance.

Amazon Pay balance cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law.

ODDS OF WINNING:
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Eligible entries are ones that satisfy the eligibility criteria outlined above and follow the steps outlined in the ‘Details of the Contest and How to Enter’ section above.

PRIZE DRAWING:
The draw for selection of the winners of the Contest will be aggregated at the end of the Contest Period. We will notify the selected participants by e-mail following the draw, and they will be required to share a valid proof of identity and age in the form of a copy of PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Indian passport.

A PAN card copy is mandatory for prizes worth INR 10,000 or more. The selected participants will automatically forfeit their claim to the Prize if they do not meet the eligibility criteria or do not comply with these T&Cs. Each Prize will be awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied.

There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part. However, in circumstances beyond our control, we may substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value in our sole discretion.

If any selected participant does not respond back to any communications sent in relation to the Contest within the time period communicated by Amazon, or answers the Contest question incorrectly, he/she shall not be eligible to be declared winner of the Prize.

The selected participant will also be required to prove his/her age, failing which he/she will be disqualified from the Contest.

In such cases, another eligible participant will be selected as the winner by a random draw of lots who will further be required to provide such information as may be requested by Amazon answer the qualifying question correctly within a time period which would be communicated to the selected participant by Amazon, in order to be declared winner of the Contest.
