My Rahman Story Contest :

This Contest is organized by Viacom 18 Media Private Limited (“Organizers”) in relation to the AR Rahman Encore concert to be held in multiple cities (“Concert”) and is open to following (“Participants”) for participation:

a. Residents of Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Hyderabad (each a “City” and collectively “Cities”)
b. who are in the age group of 18 to 40 years as on the date of participation;

Mode of Participation:
A Participant may participate in the Contest by following the below steps, during the Contest Period (defined below):
a. Like the Facebook page at the URL facebook.com/mtvindia (“Facebook Page”)/ follow the Twitter handle at the URL twitter.com/mtvindia (“Twitter Handle”) (as the case may be)
b. Write a story/write-up mentioning their favorite AR Rahman song and how the said song has inspired them in their life (“Story”)
c. Share the Story in either a) comments section of the post uploaded by the Organizer about the Contest on the Facebook Page, along with the hashtag #MyRahmanStory or b) tweet the Story on the Twitter Handle along with the hashtag #MyRahmanStory.
d. An entry will be considered valid only if it is submitted to Viacom18 as per the specifications mentioned in sub-clause 3(a), 3(b) and 3 (c) above (“Entry”)

Contest Period :
The Contest shall begin from 6.00 PM on November 7, 2017 and shall conclude at 11.50 PM on November 22, 2017 (“Contest Period”). Any entries received after the Contest Period shall not be entertained and shall be considered ineligible for the Contest. The Winners shall be announced on November 24, 2017 either on the Facebook Page/Twitter Handle or such other date and/or time and platform as may be determined by the Organizer at its sole discretion.

Selection of Winners :
At the end of the Contest Period, from amongst the Participants who have submitted a valid Entry, 1 (One) Participant from each City, who has provided the best and most creative Story as determined by Organizers at its sole discretion, will be selected as the winners of the Contest (“Winners”) and such Winners shall be eligible for gratification as detailed below.

Thus, a total of 4 (Four) Winners will be selected during the Contest Period, across all Cities.

Gratification Details :
a. Each Winner declared by the Organizers would be entitled to win couple pass for the Concert (“Gratification) which will be tentatively held in each City on the following dates:
** 26th November, 2017- Hyderabad
** 3rd December, 2017- Ahmedabad
** 17th December, 2017- Mumbai
** 23rd December, 2017- Delhi

b. The value of Gratification and the category/type of Gratification for each City shall be solely determined by the Organizer at its discretion. The date of the Concert may be changed by the Organizer at its discretion.

c. The Winner and persons accompanying them/attending the Concert along with them (“Companion”) shall strictly comply with the rules of the Concert venue. This shall be a strict condition precedent to the Winner availing the Gratification.

For the purpose of this Contest, “Companion” shall be a friend or family member of the Winner who is a resident of the same City as the Winner and is between the age group of 18 to 40 years (both inclusive) as on the date of participation in the Contest.

d. Organizer takes no responsibility, liability or any other expenses for the Winners. Organizer shall not be responsible to bear or reimburse any costs and expenses incurred by the Winner in availing the said Gratification and/or incurred otherwise including but not limited to the cost of travel to the venue of the Concert, ground transportation / internal travel, upgradation of the passes for additional access/ amenities / facilities for any and all days of the Concert, accommodation, food, beverages etc.

It is hereby expressly stated that the Winner shall be solely responsible to arrange and pay for their travel to the venue of the Concert, internal travel, accommodation, food and beverages and all costs / expenses incurred by the Winner in availing the said Gratification and/or incurred otherwise.

e. The aforesaid Gratification shall be for such date and venue of such Concert as determined by the Organizer in its sole discretion. It is further stated that the Gratification which is a pass for the Concert (category and prize of which shall be solely determined by the Organizer) shall be subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions as is set out therein or as may be informed by the Organizer from time to time.

f. The Gratification shall be sent to each Winner by Organisers’ ticketing partner “BookMyShow” (“BMS”) either through physical delivery at the address provided by the Winner or shall be sent via e-mail to the e-mail address from which the Story was submitted to the Organizers.

In the event Winner does not receive the Gratification or for any issues pertaining to the Gratification, the same shall be solely resolved between BMS and Winner. Winner shall directly contact BMS for resolving any issues pertaining to the Gratification, without any liability towards the Organizers.
