India’s Next Superstars :

The following terms and conditions govern the entire process for Auditions as detailed herein for participation in the reality program tentatively titled “India’s Next Superstars” and shall be binding on each participant residing and a citizen of any territory/country worldwide who voluntarily desire to participate in the Auditions hosted by Star India Private Limited for the purpose of selection.

Participation of Participants in the Program to be aired on, inter alia, on the Company’s and /or its network of channels and /or any other channel as deemed fit by STAR.

“Digital Auditions” means Level 1 of the selection process of the Auditions as detailed herein, to be conducted inter alia through the Website ( defined below) in the manner as set out hereunder during the Digital Auditions Period (defined below), which the Participant(s) is required to qualify to participate in further Levels and for participating in the Program.

“Digital Auditions Period” shall mean the period commencing from 15 , November 2017 at [–] am/pm and concluding on 20, November 2017 at [–] am/pm (both dates inclusive) for participation in the Digital Auditions.

“On Ground Audition(s)” means different levels comprising of Level 2 and Level 3 of the selection process of the Auditions as detailed hereunder, to be conducted inter alia at the Audition Center(s) during the On-ground Auditions Period, which the Participant(s) are required to qualify for from their participation in Digital Auditions and /or from their participation in the local on ground auditions and /or poster call out auditions through social media (as the case may be) organized and conducted by the Company at its discretion , to participate in further Levels and for participating in the Program.

“Audition Centre” shall mean any tentative locations in Mumbai, as decided and finalized by the Company at its sole discretion where the Participant(s) whose Video(s) (defined below) are shortlisted at Level 1 and /or Participants shortlisted and selected by the Company at the local on ground auditions and /or poster call out auditions through social media will be required to make themselves available for the Level 2 of the Auditions and Level 3, if applicable, as per the selection procedure.

Contestant(s)/Participant(s):
Means any natural person(s) who is between the age of 16 (sixteen) years and 30 (thirty) years, i.e. 16 (sixteen) years and above and 30 (thirty) years or below as of November 1, 2017 being a citizen and /or resident of any of the jurisdiction of the Territory having valid visa and /or work permit requirements as per the respective applicable laws and
(i) enters the Auditions /Program individually in accordance with the terms detailed below and
(ii) are shortlisted and selected by the Company for participating in the On Ground Auditions and /or different levels of Auditions through local on ground auditions and /or poster call out auditions through social media .

Principal Rules :
1. The Digital Auditions are an integral part of the Program. The Digital Auditions will be conducted in the Digital Auditions Period on the Website, which may be accessed by the interested Contestant(s) through any device including but not limited to limited to laptops, desktops, mobile phones, handheld devices, communication devices and tablets.

For avoidance of doubt it is clarified that in addition to this Digital Auditions , the Company have shortlisted and selected Contestants through local on ground auditions and /or poster call out auditions through social media organized by them at their sole discretion .

2. Procedure to Register:
1. Sharing Personal Information :
1. To register and to participate in the Digital Auditions, the interested Participant (s) shall, through the medium of the Platform submit the following personal details including but not limited to full name, gender, age, email ID, contact number(s), the name of their country/state/city where they reside, and/or any other information/documentation as sought by the Company, at its discretion during the Audition Period in a manner and form, as requested and /or prescribed on the Platform.

In addition to this, if the Participant is below the age of majority as per applicable laws in the Territory of which the Participant is a citizen of, then details and documents of their parents /natural/legal guardians such as full names, proof of relation, contact details, email ID, etc. will also need to be submitted/uploaded in the mode and manner as prescribed or requested on the Platform from time to time during the Audition Period.

For avoidance of doubt, for the purposes of participating in the Digital Auditions during the Digital Period set out hereinabove, registering through a valid email ID vide the medium of the Platform is mandatory for all interested Participants.

2. Once the interested Participant and/or natural/legal guardian of the Participant (in case the Participant(s) is below the age of majority as per applicable law in the Territory of which the Participant is a citizen of) has completed filing details of his Personal Information, he/she may click on “Submit”. Upon submitting the Personal Information, the interested Participant may share the Videos uploaded by him/her on the Platform.

1. Video Upload Functionality :
2. Once the Participant(s) and/or natural/legal guardian of the Participant (in case the Participant(s) is below the age of majority as per applicable law in the Territory of which the Participant is a citizen of) has shared the Personal Information required, he/she shall be required to share URLs/weblinks of the Videos uploaded by the interested Participant(s).

3. For the said purpose the interested Participant(s) and/or natural/legal guardian of the Participant (in case the Participant(s) is below the age of majority as per applicable law in the Territory of which the Participant is a citizen of) shall be required to record minimum two (2) videos of the Participant(s) having a good audio/sound and video quality, as given below:
1. One (1) video shall capture a dance performance of the Participant having a maximum duration of one (1) minute; and

2. One (1) video shall comprise of a dramatic act/monologue by the Participant (non-song and non-dance) (which may primarily be in Hindi language) having a minimum duration of 2 (two) minutes and maximum duration of 3 ( three) minutes. [(i) and (ii) above shall be collectively referred to as “Video(s)”].

1. Once the recording of the Videos is completed, the Participant and/or natural/legal guardian of the Participant (in case the Participant(s) is below the age of majority as per applicable law in the Territory of which the Participant is a citizen of) may either upload the Videos on youtube.com or on vimeo.com by following the instructions and as per the terms specified on such platforms.

Once the Videos are uploaded on the respective platforms, a unique URL will be generated by YouTube or Vimeo, as the case may be, for each Video uploaded and provided to the Participant in each case i.e. 2 (two) You Tube URLs in case of 2 (two) Videos uploaded on youtube.com or 2 (two) Vimeo URLs in case of 2 (two) Videos uploaded on vimeo.com.

2. The Participant shall be required to share the You Tube URLs or Vimeo URLs, as the case may be, with the Company on the Platform and click on “Submit”.

3. It may be clarified that 1 (one) You Tube URL or 1 (one) Vimeo URL may comprise of only 1 (one) Video featuring any of the acts of the Participant(s). The Participant(s) may accordingly submit 2 (two) YouTube/Vimeo web links generated containing 2 (two) Videos and share such weblinks with the Company on the Platform.

** If at any point of time the Company finds that the email ID shared by the Participant is false and /or unauthenticated , then STAR shall have the right to forthwith disqualify such Participant from further participation and his /her Entry (defined below) shall immediately be considered to be null and void.
