Zonal Informatics Olympiad, 2016 (ZIO-2016) and Zonal Computing Olympiad, 2016 (ZCO-2016) :
This year, both the Zonal Informatics Olympiad and the Zonal Computing Olympiad will be held in parallel, on Sunday, November 15, 2015.

Individual registration :
Use this online registration form to fill in your details.
The registration fee is Rs 250, to be paid online (internet banking, debit card, credit card).
Registration is open till 31 October, 2015.
You will receive a username and password by email. Admit cards will be available through the same webpage after 1 November, 2015.

Bulk registration :
You can use the following procedure for bulk registration. Bulk registration is only available for registering 10 or more participants at the same time.

Submit the completed spreadsheet by email to iarcsziozco2016@gmail.com

The registration fees are Rs 250 per student. This should be paid through a Demand Draft in the name of Indian Association for Research in Computing Science, payable in Mumbai.

Make a single consolidated Demand Draft for the entire registration fee (for instance, for 11 candidates, make the DD for Rs 2750) and send it by Speed Post or courier to the following address.

Each candidate will be assigned a username and password on the online system and will be notified at the email address provided in the bulk registration form. Note that each candidate will have to log in and download a separate admit card before the exam.

A separate acknowledgment will be sent when the registration fee payment is received.

Exam details :
The format of ZIO and ZCO will be the same as in previous years. However, please note the following changes.

ZIO-2016 and ZCO-2016 will be held in parallel, at the same centres, so students can write only one of the two exams to qualify for INOI-2016. The choice is to be made at the time of registration.

ZIO-2016 will be administered as a computerized test, in cooperation with TCS iON. The nature of the question paper will be the same as in previous years. You will work out the solutions using pen and paper and only submit your final answers. However, instead of a printed question paper and answer sheet, you will read the question paper on the screen and type in your answers on the computer.

ZCO-2016 is a programming exam. The only programming languages permitted in ZCO-2016 are C and C++. Java and Pascal will not be supported. The local computer will have Dev-Cpp installed for writing code. Code will be submitted for evaluation to a local server, with feedback on correct/wrong answers.
